Longest time between baths is two weeks here. Usually every 5 days or so.

I had no problem losing baby weight after my other 3, but this time is sooooo different.

I mentioned it to my mum the other day and she remarked that I did put on quite a bit of weight while I was in hospital. There were no full length mirrors there so I honestly didnt notice.

So it seems all the bed rest and chocolate-comfort eating has paid its price.

    hey,
i disappeared to feed christopher, do some housework, make a few phonecalls and have a cuppa,!!! :D

OK, me and Chris have just fallen out because I am !!!!!! off with his mum. Heres what has just happened.
I posted on here and then Dylan woke up, so I got a bottle ready and sat down to change his bum. As I was in the middle of doing this, MIL came to the front door and saw me on the floor with Dylan so instead of just posting my anniversary card through the door and leaving us in peace, she rang the doorbell so she could get a cuddle when he was awake. Now this part I don't mind as he is normally sleeping when she sees him, BUT she then saw the bottle sitting, lifted it and said, 'sure I'll just feed him when I'm here':mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Now i don't know if I am overreacting or not, but I am seriously !!!!!! off that she didnt even ask if I minded !!
I went straight upstairs and woke Chris as soon as she did it and told him to get up even though he has been up half the night sick !!

    Sorry rant over :o

I understand the need for your rant! I seen my MIL for approx 30 mins the day after Christopher was born, then nothing, not a dickie bird, or even a text to ask how i was until she showed up unannounced yesterday morn, about 10ish with nephew and didnt leave til about 1pm!!!! nephew managed to completely wreck playroom, get crumbs all over newly hoovered floor and generally do my blimmin head in. in the meantime, MIL decided that my house was not clean enough and proceeded to start bleaching down kitchen worktops, dusting tv stand and mantelpiece etc. i could have strangled her. she came t my house and disturbed me doing my cleaning, which is why the stuff she did wasnt done yet!!!!!! was soo angry.

weelz you're not the first one to as on here ... MM i'd be p!ssed to you dont just push in and start feeding like its your the mum shes the gran so id say jog on x

jog on -- havent used that term in AGESS!!!lol :T

  • I put on loads of weight with Jasmine, lost quite a bit of it, but not all for my wedding, put a bit back on and then not very much extra with Dylan.

I would say I am pre pregnancy size now but not pre Jasmine size which is where I would love to get back too :)

I've actually put on more weight since having El. El gets a biscuit mummy gets [STRIKE]3[/STRIKE] 1 biscuit;)

El has a bath/shower every night. We're very much into showers at the mo. She lets me wash her hair no probs in the shower but it's WW3 if I try and do it in the bath!!!!

I'm pre Chris weight now, but not size, fat weighs less than muscle  :p

SM do you think the Depo has slowed your loss down? I know its often not recommended for anyone trying/needing to lose weight
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.
