    Afternoon all, just a quick post as 1st day back at work since holiday....

    My sister is trying to buy some Huggies Drynites Sleep Shorts 4-7yrs old for my nephew but she can only find the pants ones.... Have been in touch with Huggies and they say they are available but we cant seem to find them anywhere...... If anyone spots them on their shopping travels etc can you let me know where so we can try and get hold of some...

    Cheers

    advice welcomed please!

    I know i need to introduce some solids from 6 months.

    Also that it's dangerous to wean a child who can't sit unaided.

    Hmmmmmn. Fergus seems really far from sitting unaided, and I 'should' wean in 3 weeks.

    Any ideas on anything I can do to strengthen his sitting muscles?!:o:D

    TIA

    Weezl x

    Not all sources agree that you 'need' to wean at 6 months. Have a read here;

    I'd never heard it was dangerous to wean before they could sit unaided, surely a lot of babies can't manage that at 6months, so are they supposed to wait until X months?

    I put Keira either in her baby walker or her bouncer to feed her before she could sit up properly.

    BM i did the same as you and she got it weelz you cant really to get them to sit completely up right zoe used to get bored and flop but by the end of it the fact if she did that the food got further away she sat up right ... never heard it being dangerous just only if they cant hold there heads up on there own x

    That article you posted feely, am I the only who thinks making a baby wait longer than 10months (unless there is medical issues) wrong? I remember at about 7/8 months, Keira was grabbing food off our plates and smooshing it as near to her mouth as she could. Seems a bit mean!

    Thanks to those who said it looks as if I'm doing ok with my baby, there is a lot of time with him just 'sitting there' but I guess he's looking around at things and that is entertaining enough for him at the moment, I just didn't want to feel like I'm neglecting him but with nearly 15 hours awake it's hard work!!
