I miss living in a huge house... This is where we used to live when NATO paid our rent many years ago when we first moved to the UK... It might explain why I think a 3 bed mid terrace is too small ;)
I live in a 3 bed mid terrace (albeit about 100yrs older than yours) it IS too small!!!
I NEED a 5bed detached (that way it would just be wrong not to have/get more kids):A

LOL I had a livingroom, kitchen (didn't have a kitchen FITTED but there was a kitchen "room" - disgustingly about 3 times the size of my current kitchen :( ) a bathroom and a loo and a bedroom, hall and a seperate entrance way... all the rooms bigger than my equivalents here... and I lived.... in the granny annex that was built on top of the old indoor pool that had been bloked over!

Next to my annex (with own entrance!) was the "play room"/storage of loads of junk room - excluding MY area the house had:
large kitchen (HUGE), larder room, small study, large study/office, dining room, toilet, large livingroom, hallway, closet (walk in thingy - about the size of a box room...).
Upstairs there was family bathroom, 5 bedrooms - 1 with en suite...

It was mahooooosive! Especially the kitchen... I know cos it was one of my jobs to wash the blasted kitchen floor and - get this - use the buffing machineon the hallway and entrance hall floor! to make it shine!

    Rent back then?

Should have been £3000 - we got it for £2000 pcm because we took a 3 year lease! And we're talking 12+ years ago!

Tiamai - there is NO way we could have afforded to live there is NATO/Danish government hadn't paid the rent! It was only because my stepdads rank warrented a £2k allowance per month whilst stationed abroad and that the owners of the house saw the benefit of getting £2k a month guaranteed for 3 years against it potentially standing empty for a year etc...

there is the main house which has been extended at the back, one cottage was turned into a huge room and the other cottage is a double garage, it is lovely but has needed soo much work!

  • We are only 2 bedrooms here ... 2 bedroom ex council flat on the 3rd floor. But we have a lift, and it isn't too poky, so it does us for the time being :)

Will be better when we've finished all the diy, and we don't have half the hallways full of tool kits.

Whoever was wondering about TT, just send them an email and they should get back to you. I remember I bought 2 drink cups for Keira from asda I think, and they were missing the plastic straw bit for the inside, so I sent an email and a week later 2 new cups turned up at my door, it also turned out DD preferred drinking from the cups without the straws, so I got 4 cups for the price of 2......those cups are about £4 each though!

DD ate a small amount of green thai curry earlier, yey! At least she is TRYING new things lately, we'll get there.

Amazingly she STILL hasn't had a poo, I swear she is holding it in on purpose! She had a nap on the sofa earlier, for about 1hr 30mins and I didn't put a pull up on her, she woke up and hadn't peed, got up went to the table to get a strawberry, and then weed herself? Lol not sure what happened there.

I saw pics of the smashed car, really suprised they both managed to walk away from tbh, the whole back is caved in and the passenger side. Amazing.
