Normally it doesn't actually bother me... his swearing and shouting at it does but it was just ebcause I'd had enough of everythign yesterday... Alexandra had been a grinch all day, wouldn't let me put her down without screaming her head off, I was exhausted and felt like a bad mummy and my cat might be extreemly poorly and suddenly little things just seemed HUGE...
In his defence he's always done what I asked and doesn't like "interfering" because he'd probably do the wrong thing etc (I have MY way of doing things normally...) and this isn't a chat we've had before so I have little doubt he will do it bless him... poor bloke didn't know what ht him yesterday - I don't really do crying...
Ah days like that are horrible! You are not a bad mummy, you are a tired mummy;)
We have had that conversation MANY, MANY times...unfortunately! and as for shouting at the PS3...well it is better than it was:p
Right am off to make bottles, then hitting the hay...Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

i have stopped googling things sami lol as i find im looking more into them, i dont think there is anything wrong with him, but i think people saying things has made me wonder if im not seeing something?
Why do people do that, think that all kids are the same, Ben is a lively boy, he wakes up chatting, endless energy, almost manic sometimes but I never worried as he can sit through a film and sleeps well. Give him E no's though and !!!!!! he's mental!!!Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
Thanks all. I have emailed asking for the comments to be taken off and hopefully they will be removed soon. Here I go again on my own....0

Least favourite was small clothes - especially newborn when she was a month old and too big for them already. Next voucher wasn't very good - we have ended up buying clothes for when Alice is 5-7 with it as it was all we could find that we liked and we were worried about the voucher expiring.
Best was probably toys/books and vests/babygrows in larger sizes. Clothes in larger sizes were good too but not always to my taste. One of OH's school friends sent the Hungry Caterpillar - that was probably his favourite.0 -
elle, it might be terribly uncouth but my favourite gifts are vouchers/cash/cheques (as both children are rediculously spoilt. I even have lots of their Christmas presents still unopened - Jamie even received his own fair share whilst still in the womb due to his EDD!).
Worst presents were all the newborn sized clothes (sorry!!) as weighing in at his size they were already too small (but my lovely sister bought lots off me recently and I in turn bought a stash of nappies and wipes
).

Oh, don't get me wrong, I could also say my favs are the £200+ collection we got from work which went on prem baby clothes and my Medela pump (won't tell the factory guys that one!), or the Mothercare and Boots vouchers we've got..
So many people like buying baby clothes, don't they? Particularly if they haven't got children themselves, I've found.. All my mummy friends have gone for practical things, and even one of my non-mummy friends came into the hospital with a gift bag with grapes on the top.. underneath were lots of chocolate bars and a big box of Thorntons toffee (my fav!)
I always bought practical things.. My latest new baby gift was actually a giftcard for Tesco which I suggested they spent on "nappies, clothes, ready meals, wine, beer and DVDs"0 -
