Still need to go through all the pressies, loads of newborn but swapping it is difficult when because of the sales it scans for next to nothing. Must take the cards down, just counted 38 but they are still arriving in the post, oh and MIL buys a new outfit each time we see her, I'm grateful but I'd have to change her 3 times a day to use it all!Too many children, too little time!!!0

I met OH on May 10th (4 days after his birthday, only reason I remember) 2005, I had Keira, on April 11th 2006.....didn't take long! What's that 2/3months before I fell pregnant? He says he is a super virile man....ugga ugga.
So we have been together 4years, had our ups and downs, hate that effing PS3 of his though, many an argument been caused because of that. So I feel for you ladies who's OH's play on Xbox etc too much!
I wasn't prepared at all when I had Keira, my mum had gave birth to my sister 2years before that and told me that you werent allowed to take baby clothes in with you, you had to use theirs. So naturally I didn't bring, and they didn't supply you anymore...doh!
Best gift was probably a big baby box full of shampoos, cotton buds, nail scissors, cotton buds etc.
Worst presents are anything I get from my Step gran for Keira's bdays etc, she picks the FOULEST clothes from the sales racks in Asda, reduced to like 25p - and for a reason! Bogey green clothes that should be given to a rag man, and !!!!!! coloured things are a fave of hers too.

To answer my own question..
Fav: Either the toy basket - like a hamper from a really posh hamper place; I accidentially found out how much it cost, £65!! Or the huge bag of practical things which my best mummy friend gave me. It's got allsorts in it, ranging from stuff we need now to things we need for weaning and beyond. All the things she'd found most useful
Least fav: Anything Winnie the Pooh.. I'm sorry, I don't know why, but I just can't stand it! It's all very nice things in principle, just they have WTP all over them. I can't understand why someone would choose something so specific (rather than just clothes with random cartoon dogs on, for example) when they have no idea if I/we like it - particularly when I thought I'd been so vocal about not being able to stand WTP!
And, yes, don't worry.. OH has been telling me what an ungrateful so-and-so I am..
Elle please forward all WTP items to Mrs T address to follow :rotfl: We LOVE WTPSo much so Alex has 2 walls of handpainted WTP sketches!

ok i need some advise, how do you tell the difference between an energetic child and a seriously hyperactive child? also what do you do? The past few weeks people have commented on how hyper charlie is and tonight my friend was in and asked if we had thought about getting him checked out? he is wild and hard work but he has always been like this? What's for you won't go past you0 -
Elle ur weird just like my friend! She won't allow ANYTHING WTP in her house
Her DS goes bonkers for all our winnie stuff when he's here
I also got lots of lovely knitted stuff but only put 1 cardi on Chris, I thought I wanted to be traditional while preg but turned out I'm one of 'those' mum's that dresses their LOs in trendy stuff0 -

I don't know if it's WTP specifically or just the thought of having a particular "range/series" of things.. I much prefer the cartoon dog thing we seem to have going on - most of it purely by accident! Rhys is currently wearing a sleepsuit with blue dogs on (any ideas, Sami?) and we have a really cute one from Next in that 31-things-for-£4 bundle I got which has two dogs labelled as "Sid" and "Dave" on it!

Hmm, I'm turning into one of "those" mum's too.. OH has banned me from buying jeans until Rhys is six months (so in 0-3 clothes then!), but we've got lots of funky tshirts, hoodies and cargo/boarder pants - that OH doesn't know about yet0
