Big hugs Natty, don't be doing anything else. Go and curl up in bed, if you push yourself too much you'll only make it worse. You never know a bit of a rest and you might feel a bit better later, the housework is going no where.

Clothes all put away for now but i'm sure there'll be more later.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

I would be up for a little flylady meet up if there is one going? See if Jjef or SSL are about. Are there any other Scottish flyladies?

Yay!! Another meet :D I'm up for it.

I got a text from jjef this morning. She is on holiday and lightening struck the farm. Everyone's fine, they quite enjoyed the storm, but she doesnt have any electricity or a phone line. She's got her mob with her. Thank goodness for mobs eh?

Anyone up for a HHC? I need to finish off my ironing...

eta - Natty (((hugs))) love. Take it easy, leave the housework xx

Basically, get a cushion and a pin, think about what's lost, say out loud three times "I pin the devil" then stick the pin in the cushion (you can remove it afterwards!). And then get on with something else. The lost thing will turn up quite quickly. Spookily, it works for me and my best friend....
Whoever said it was me and Soappie who do this are quite right actually LOL

    Evening ladies,

Natty - get yourself to bed with a cup of tea and try and get some rest! Sod OH, take care of yourself first and foremost. Men can be so insensitive:rolleyes:

I have made a good start on LO's room, have cleared out half the drawers and cleared the tops of the chest of drawers. Will do a little more while she is in the bath so it should be ready for prepping tomorrow. Clutter seems to breed in my flat:o

Natty - take no notice of DH - he probably thinks he's saying the right thing [aren't men useless sometimes] go to bed and hang the housework, it will still be there when you feel better and as mentioned before you could make yourself worse by trying to struggle on. Make yourself a nice hot drink, go to bed and relax and sleep............................ now, please [hugs]

I'm feeling better now, I tasked my DD with trying to have good behaviour today to see what kind of day she could have instead of the horrendous days we normally get and she has tried really hard to be good and oh my, what a difference it has made, she has temper control issues, it has been hard for her but she has tried and had a good day as we all have. I'm very proud of her and have just given her a big cuddle and told her that so we are a very happy house at the mo, makes a change from all the fighting that goes on here normally

I've done WM x 3, TD x 2, washing on the line, made kids tea, had a sleep, went for a long walk and had a picnic [it was wonderful]

Can't believe the time, where has the day gone?

Dusty the way to declutter the black dog is exercise, however much you dont feel like it, also try - a little extra sleep, a little drink, a new haircut/outfit if money not a prob, eat something pickled, shout and scream and stamp your feet...
   ;)

I felt much better after decluttering OH to work and having a huggle on the sofa with DS3 and Garfield on the tv

I got a text from jjef this morning. She is on holiday and lightening struck the farm. Everyone's fine, they quite enjoyed the storm, but she doesnt have any electricity or a phone line. She's got her mob with her. Thank goodness for mobs eh?

Thanks for the update, how scary, please send her my love if you hear anymore

    That'd be me :D

Crafty well done on your assignment

Hex - thanks Woody is ok, he has something in his tummy - vet thinks a furball (from over licking fluffy fat cat) or a lump of mouse etc

Rose - you made me laugh, it was 'the' black dog, did you rescue your stale scones?

Serena hi hun, you sound like you are gradually unwinding, has your DD made up with her BF

Natty - big hugs, I hope you get plenty of rest and feel better soon

Managed to get some T shirts for DS3 and DS2 today and much needed new jeans for him (poor child is past 13 but still needs age 9-10 jeans)

    All fine at the dentist

Helped Mum sort out all the toys at her house, some for her next carboot.

She is having new wooden floors soon so I've bagged her bedroom carpets to replace the hideous brown one in our garage (we are not posh, it attaches to the kitchen and is used as a general store). My plans to tidy and do up the garage with free or second hand stuff is going really well :D

How did you get on Jue? I finished off the ironing, put it away and supervised DD making the dinner while I washed and put away the dishes.

    ETA - will do Dusty
