Walked into town, had to get a new sim card for my phone , but at least I got my phone registered. Been shopping & WM x 1, & a little flying in the kitchen, so quite a productive day.

G&B your decorate a room a week is very impressive - good luck - it is about a room a year at Dusty Castle.

    Toots - drain update

Came home this afternoon and there are men digging up the road on the junction. Rushed over to them to see what they are doing and they are replacing 3 of the gullies which are blocked (including mine). They told me that when they tried to jet them earlier in the year they couldn't because of the way they are so they are having to dig them out - so they knew all along! Just wondering if it will all be done by the time the heavy equipment comes next Wednesday - I just so bet that has not be co-ordinated.

    Five things this week are....

    1) clean car inside and out.
    4) spend one hour in veg patch.
    5) price up DS's bedroom.

Not much left now, Rhys due a feed anytime and after that i'll sort the fridge and clean the window. Must go to shop and ONLY buy what i need, seem to go in for one thing and come out with a tenner less in my pocket.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Natty - SarahShattered is so right - i hope that you have gone to bed for a rest........

I have been good and had a sleep but I have to say it has not really helped the jangley nerves - they feel like when you just get a rush of adrenaline - that zing feeling.... oh this is so hard to describe.

RosePink - Armour is medication that I use for my hypothyroid - it has all of the hormones T1, T2, T3 and T4 - I have found it to be much better than the T4 only that is usually prescribed - the only downside is that the RCP has decreed that it should not be prescribed so I have to get it from America.

On the flying front I have done nothing but DS has just made me a cup of tea and we are going to work on his statement so I will catch up again later - it is on my list of 5

I think i'll need more than luck! Really needs done though and i thought it was better to try and get it all done in one go than have it drag on. None of the rooms are particularly big and its all just paint, no wallpaper or anything.

I can heartily recommend quick drying gloss! I love it, it's the future, ( a little like garlic bread. ) :D:D

I painted our untreated pine door and skirting. It needed 3 coats, but, it's incredibly quick to apply, it was dry in 2 hrs, and ready for the next coat in 4 hours. :T:T Ace. Good luck with it. ;)

How did you get on Jue? I finished off the ironing, put it away and supervised DD making the dinner while I washed and put away the dishes.

I washed the dishes, put some clothes away, cooked tea and then DH arrived home - he'd decided he was coming home as the bed in the wagon he's in is uncomfortable:rolleyes: so he's got a 2.30 start in the morning!
