I have not caught up on the thread and don't have a hope in hell of doing so.

I figured i would be better off cleaning than reading. Just need to get the carpet cleaned in the living room as ds has had a particular bad week of dropping stuff on the carpet so the Kirby will get an airing today.

Finished the letters for the PFA just have some envelopes to print off then have the mammoth task of hand delivering them all. Lets hope this pays off !!

Your babies are TOO young to see their dad 'every other' weekend. He needs to establish the pattern of contact NOW before they get used to not seeing him.
My dad saw us very rarely, knew nothing about us and, in effect 'lost' us and he never knew his grandchildren. His loss...
it's not the money, ior the new things (although if those things are on offer kids will take them without conscience) what they want is TIME and to know that they are LOVED. and it's the time that shows them they are loved...
and if you're in no hurry to divorce DON'T. If he is ina rush (and I suspect you might be right about him having the next Mrs **** lined up then you can use that to your advnatage setting on a ratifiable access agreement with obligations and penalties...
My ex has seen DD1 once a month for a couple of hours, since she was 3 months old...she knows intellectually what he is, but has no relationship. If financial/material gain is all the child can get from a parent who has planned to have them, then the child has an absolute right to take that, with no issue of conscience. Maybe XH wants to get money sorted out, pigpen?

    Good Morning Fellow Flyers :hello:

Well my plan is to S & S the whole house and try and keep it up, i am very proud of myself this week for doing all my lists and next week if i manage to keep up this weekend should be even easier!!:T

We have to go to Meadowhell today for a suit for OH as we are at a wedding next Saturday, and also to take eldest ds for his Birthday present for tomorrow, he is going to be 10 years old, time flies by doesn't it doesn't seem that long ago he was a nightmare baby screaming is lungs out every hour :rotfl:. I also need to go and buy a cake for him too.

Pigpen, i can understand your rant i have been there hun. My story turned out really crappy mainly becuase of the length of time to sort it out. If you do go to mediation you shouldn't have to pay as you should be entitled to legal aid and the agreed amounts will at least be documented. Although as you own you house the cost of legal aid is registered against your house when you sell it. This may be worth pointing out the the Exh i.e. if your going to be arsey with me and the children then i will lets the courts sort it out and it will cost you more, then explain it in simple terms, (as we all know men don't really get it). The courts will be amazed that a Mum is actually trying to keep up contact with the father and extended family as this is classed as very important for the child welfare
Although this will cut your return down on the house it doesn't mean you have to actually do it just see how he reacts and play the bluffing game!
My divorce proceedings and court proceedings cost just over 10k! Mainly because he did not play ball and messed everyone around, it should have cost around £300.
Also 2 weeks is a very long time and its about time he did prioritise the children. Maybe a thought for you, but knowing you missus i am sure you have already thought most of it as you are far from backwards in coming forwards. I hope you manage to sort it out!
