    Morning all,

Well we are back safely although driving down the A9 in a down pour is not one I wish to repeat too often. Have had a great time on the farm and been spoilt by my aunt, uncle and all cousins. Had an interesting start had been there for nearly 15 mins when the farmhouse was hit by lightning - took out the phone line but fortunately elec was okay - phone line was fixed on tues but my cousin lost her broadband box so is waiting on a new one fortunately my aunt switches things off at the wall all the time so her box was okay.

Havent had time for a catch up here but Jo hungs hun think you did the right thing last night wine & a friend - hope the hangover is not too bad today.

Apart from washing, shopping & gardening I am not going to do much monday will come around soon enough. Going to dundee tomorrow ssl will give you a text or FB message later, looks like its a family outing as kids & OH want to go swimming.

Off to shower and then shop, will be back later.
Hmm, indeed, we travelled back one Easter and it was drizzling snow/sleet/rain for the whole journey. I did not like that drive one bit!
We will be on the A9 (and the M9 and the M80 and the A80 and the M73 lol) on Weds as we are off to Mums, then to a Caravan so will be on the M74 after that ;). Me doing most of the driving .
Anyway I feel icky so off to shower (maybe wake me up ?) before starting flying. Good news is the holiday mix CD's are done :).

Morning all! Have flown a bit around the kitchen so a star or 2 should be achieveable tomorrow.

I'm off here http://www.benjerry.co.uk/sundae/festivalinfo.php very soon so will think of you all whilst I'm scoffing vast amounts of free ice-cream ;):p:D It's looking good on the weather front too - fingers crossed it stays dry.

Have a good day all x

Maybe XH wants to get money sorted out, pigpen?

It is sorted.. he pays the loan (£270) (I pay the overdraft.. £167) and £100 a week for the children.. there are 7 of them so it isn't a huge amount between them.. but anything at the moment other than the nothing I am getting would be good.

though I think maintaining a relationship with the children should be a priority over the money.. or maybe it is just me that puts them first in everything.

    Morning all

    Sorry about your news Jo.

Got up quite early (about 7 am) and I've made a sponge and a fruit cake, made cottage pie for whenever DH gets home (just needs to go in the oven for an hour). I've got one load of washing out on the line, nearly dry. And I've dusted and polished the living room/computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

About 10.30 last night I discovered the dog has another haematoma on her ear pad so I'm off to the vet about noon.

  • Thanks Ladies for all your kind messages on here & FB.

DS is a trouper and doing well, not complaining very much, and is having a sofa day in front of the TV. It'll be a long few days for him until he's back on his feet but we've plenty of things to do - I've been collecting bits and pieces for a couple of weeks, all hidden in the craft cupboard. LOL

I still feel so tired but two nights of not sleeping much, and the temperature in the hospital yesterday was way high, and then add holding a very hot child! :D

Waiting on the ice cream van to make its usual appearance - I've promised a treat, so best go listen out,

again many thanks for all the support, it's been very much appreciated

    Moam
