Pigpen did you make that solicitors appointment?

I think some mediation should be looked at asap before this situation escalates any further.

tbh. right now it is not something that is of high priority and I don't actually fully understand his rush to be divorced so quickly.. unless he is after running straight into marriage with whichever lady-love he finds that day..:confused: it doesn't really change anything as far as everything is concerned.. it is really bizarre.

My priorities this month are getting on top of my ebay mountain and getting some cash in to buy the school shoes before they go back to school, make sure everyone is fed and dressed and get DS1 home for keeps! Plus the other minor details you are privy to (I do like torturing this lot with my sneaky secrets... *giggle*) Then there are the small matters of birthdays and christmas to sort out.. again..

I would like to know why he is in such a hurry though..

Pigpen (((hugs))) it won't help, I know, but my ex 'wouldn't' leave at first because he felt his kids were being taken from him. DS has declined to go for the past three weeks and probably won't tomorrow but will he phone? I have asked him to keep the lines of communication open and all I gewt is 'well they know my number'. He's the adult and HE MUST make an effort as must your ex. Your babies are TOO young to see their dad 'every other' weekend. He needs to establish the pattern of contact NOW before they get used to not seeing him.
My dad saw us very rarely, knew nothing about us and, in effect 'lost' us and he never knew his grandchildren. His loss...
it's not the money, ior the new things (although if those things are on offer kids will take them without conscience) what they want is TIME and to know that they are LOVED. and it's the time that shows them they are loved...

and if you're in no hurry to divorce DON'T. If he is ina rush (and I suspect you might be right about him having the next Mrs **** lined up then you can use that to your advnatage setting on a ratifiable access agreement with obligations and penalties...
