Nicki - I was wondering how Edward was ? (don't feel you have to answer if you'd prefer not to)
He's doing much better thanks. His test for Cystic Fibrosis was negative thankfully, as were all the tests for thyroid problems and gut problems. He's slowly putting on weight, but has dropped from 75th centile when he was born, to the 9th centile now. That didn't mean a lot to me until I was sitting beside a mum with a 2 week old baby today, who was much much bigger than my 8 week old! He was weighed today and was 10lb though :j so looking more substantial to my eyes.
Hope all is still well with you. No bump pics on this thread I notice. Would be nice to see how you are all swelling!0 -
Nicki - good to know Edward is doing better and that the tests all came back negative. As requested here's a bump pic I took just yesterday, don't know why I look so startled but hey it shows the bump off well hehe...

Hi nikki, really pleased edward is doing so well, my friend gave birth at 30 wks and her little boy spent weeks (months) in SCBU and is now a very healthy little boy, he spent at least the first 6 months being smaller than others, i went shopping with her when he was home and everyone thought he was a doll he was so small. But after months of tests and questions, he is now growing well and a very happy and chilled out boy. I am sure that Edward will get round to growing when he is ready
Well i had my worst day for nausea yesterday, which wasn't helped by my office being full of men all day, not sure how i am going to keep this quiet for long! oh well, slwoly but surely plodding along, thanks again for all the support
Somnium you look great in your bump pic, i can't wait to have a bumpLeopardlady

LL - Glad the sickness is coming along nicely, lots of yukki symptoms are a good sign. I found those sea band travel sickness things were quite good.
Nicki - Good news that the CF tests have come back negative & Edward is putting on weight - when he's a great strapping teenager eating you out of house & home you'll look back at this first few months in amazement.
Somnium - love the Bump picture - I'll try & do mine this weekend ( if I'm brave enough)
lauzjp - I say bring on the jogging bottoms - if you can't be comfy when pregnant.......... I intend to live in my PJ's on when I finish work & not take 'em off until I give birth.lol0 -

Well, we were wishing for a baby of course, but I think the one we got was missing its volume control :rotfl:. Maybe it got snapped off during the birth
He's been asleep all afternoon, bless his socks, so can't complain too much!0 -
