She didn't say, but I suspect by the way she seemed to understand the complete nonsense that is my justifications that she has been a drinker!
My first counsellor years ago was lovely but it used to really p!ss me off and I'd tell him so that when they have birthdays or leaving do's in the office they probably all go down the pub after telling their 'patients' that they need to quit drinking :rotfl:

    :D

I went on an alcohol awareness course a few years ago for work and I met a guy there who worked as a drug and alcohol worker and he had all the signs of being a very heavy drinker, beer belly, red cheeks and shaking hands. I also knew a girl who worked as a drug worker and who bought drugs for her own use from her clients.

Hi Miss P. You've got my target down as 27, when it should be 30.

I realise I've duffed it up by drinking on the saturday and sunday (so the best I can manage is 29), but I should really keep the 30 as my original target and not cheat...

    :)

So apart from those two days, I've been good. Total up to last night therefore is 3/30

    Hope everyone is ok?

You don't want a doberman, a collie, a springer spaniel and a GBGV for the week do you :D

It would give me such a relaxing week ..... just the family to put up with :rotfl:

    What's a GBGV?

Do you know - I have wrestled a goat - in order to milk it, and I have caught my own dinner. Do I get hillbilly creds?;)

Okay, panicking a bit now, OH just rung and asked if I could pick him up from the station, DD1 has gone out so I'll have to take the 2 little'uns with me. I am not going to speak to him till later, once the kids have gone to bed probably about 9pm, it's going to be so awkward not telling him straight away. But prob is that he often has paperwork to finish off when he gets in so can't do it then, then he mucks about with the kids and we can't have that conversation whilst the kids are creating world war 3 and then it's dinner time. God this is going to be the longest evening of my life AND the beer bells are ringing, can you believe it

Don't panic - you have crossed the hardest bridge and that is committing to telling him, and doing what you did today. Can you sow some seeds earlier without having the full conversation? Stay strong....
