  • Fay~where are you in Aberdeen? Anywhere near the top end of Union Street? I'll wave to you from the office :D

I've had a bad few days. Saturday night was the worst. My mum asked for the crisps and dips she bought and I poured her a glass of wine. I poured myself one too, drank it and poured another to take through with me :o Had another with mum. She went to bed after that and I stayed up watching some nonsense on the telly. Had more wine! Woke Sunday morning feeling like s***. Recovered amazingly quickly and took the boys out for a fun day at the beach and local fruit farm. Played in the enormous play area and picked our own strawberries.

Came home and drank two bottles of beer that Mr FH had leftover before he went away. Once the boys were in bed, started on the wine again :o But through sheer tiredness I stopped at the second glass and went to bed.

Feeling a bit funny about it all to be honest. I feel like I've taken a bit of a backward step after being so good.

    Much love X
    Need to start again :o

What's your plans for this evening?

I'm exhausted, just spent the good part of the last 2 hours hoovering, the kids creating havoc behind me as I went so had to start all over again. Dunno what to have for dins tonight cos I'm still stuffed from lunch.

Better get off this thing cos OH will be in from work soon'ish and it'll look like I've been on the pooter all day and not doing anything  ;)

No plans as such Jo. I have this weird knot in my chest like I'm anxious or something. If I manage to get past 8pm I'll be fine. It's the witching hour when I get home, when all I can hear are the bells and the kids screaming that gets to me.

Humph  Not sure if that's a word but describes how I feel right at this minute. Off home now, catch up in a bit.

    Hi all

Just popped in to wish FUAS good luck with the interview.

Hope everyone is OK today, thanks for the good wishes-I do feel a lot better but it was a strange sort of bug, head, throat, tummy all combined-weird.

    Best of luck everyone today..

  • Hi all
Back from the madness that is work. Finding this weather depressing. Thanks for all the words of motivation.
GC yes I can put a stop to a bad day and I have ! Moaners and groaners at work, b*t*hing and sniping. Take a back seat and leave them to it.
Debt Monkey I'm on the case and am doing ok.
Jo - love to be your AF buddy this evening ! Going to cook, have a bath and spend the night playing scrabble on FB or with my head in a book ! Looking forward to a decent nights 'wholesome' sleep.

    Hi guys

Just thought i'd pop in. Still free from alcohol but the monster on my back was calling to me on the way home from work.......begging me to stop at Asda for the dreaded Stella as I would have done before.

I just ignored it and now its gone again.

    Phew.

Good luck to everyone else tonight whatever you goal is.

    PAH and HUMPH!

Back from interview and absolutely shattered, very tiring indeed and feel shattered indeed. Was difficult and I would be surprised if I get it as I think they were looking for someone a bit different to me, that's ok though.

If I had a bottle in the fridge and not pledged to 30 days this month I would have felt like having a drink.

So I've had a Ribena instead and a hot choccie later to use up the gallons of milk I have in.

Catch you later, off to feed to dogs!

Miss P, can you put me down for 2 AFD pleeeeaaasssseeee?????
