Not mcDonalds surely?
If it's any consolation, Mrs GP woke me up this morning and asked if I fancied getting breakfast from there....I was sorely tempted, but resisted the urge0 -

GP - Couse you can join us. How many days you going for?
I'm going to take a bold step and say 30/310 -
:hello:
Hi everyone on this glorious August afternoon! Just spent an age catching up as I haven't been on here since...yesterday morning!!
Seeing the coats I began to wonder if we were doing ebay as well as cooking on this thread. Multi-tasking!!
Welcome to newbies, I'm sure you'll love it on here. Very welcoming crowd.
Well done jo on setting up the counselling. Miss P thanks for scoring for August, seems you've got a long list after all.
Budgie, well done to your DS what a clever boy you and Mr B have produced. Does he know yet that he's buying us all a curry from his pay rise?
GP, I'm glad you're joining in this month, you need to get in training, seems you could be in next year's Tour de France. Well done you, a fantastic achievement :T Any luck on the lardloss at the same time or are you now solid muscle?
winebox, hope you aren't in pain and well done for starting the medication.
changing ways, I find that leaping up from the table is helpful in cutting down drinking (it's not the same chatting over a glass of water I find) but I do feel mean not spending more time with OH.
eyeopener, why don't you add a money target to your sig, it might motivate you if you can see the debt being paid off with your wine money. Take a look at our fay, she's done fabulously well.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend everyone.0 -

Don't even want to think about it Maman. Had a great night climbing last thursday, then went back home up north for a week and did nothing but eat and drink. Went back for a climb thursday just gone and in the space of a week I had regressed to someone with the climbing strength of a 12 year old girl
Still, onwards and upwards. I've found a bit of focus now...0 -
Miss Piggy - can I change my mind please
:rolleyes::p
I don't want 40SM to be on her own with counting units instead of AF days..... well that's my excuse anyway:rotfl:
Could I change to 125 units for the month please instead of my AF days
In retrospect I think I will just drink myself silly on the drinking days and feel ill on the AF days if I just count AF days again
This way I know what I'm drinking !
Anyway 10 units gone already (At least it will be by the time I go to bed) .... 10/125 please
Hope its a calm stress free Sunday
Best Wishes
Andy
xx
PS. Chilli ..... garlic ....... Yum yum ...... don't get it in the eyes  ...... It really stings :rolleyes:Embrace your inner Hillbilly

Hi all! East Anglia I hope tomorrow...could not reach anyone! Day 3...pleased..hardly an urge...slept better last night (not 100% but better)...pleased as sat nite in on own+barney with G/F...(shes left bank card for shopping, I checked her balance & the 'available balance' was £500 less than 'total balance'...I panicked thinking someone had got card details & phoned bank giving her 10 digit telephone banking number...result was they promptly locked card & disabled phone banking as it's 'against the rules to divulge pin no's etc...had to get G/F in France to hone them to unlock phone banking & order a new card...she's not best pleased! Silly thing was I realisied that the 'available balance' was the ammount that COULD BE DRAWN THAT DAY IN CASH, not the real balance!1 Do'h...) easiest thing with the stress & boredom was to have some booze...but hardly a twinge! So three days into my '7' days off (I will the probably do another 14 or 21)...hope everyones ok!0

Hi All
I've totally lost track of the thread because I haven't been on for a day and a half!
Hello to all the newbies  At least I'm not 'new' anymore.
I quite like the idea of counting units. But I'll stick with the 10 AF please Miss P and then I hope to better it this month. No hols planned.
Just booked a week at Centerparcs for Winter Wonderland in Dec. Not very MSE but I got 4 nights for £280It's the last chance we will get before the eldest goes to school and we have to pay stupid prices!!! So reckon we have done really well. I just know the two boys will love it!
My mum is here, so no wine yet. But she was out to lunch and requested nibbles for later. So no doubt a glass will be involved then. I'm just glad I seem to have broken the habit of 5pm....lets have a glass of wine.
Will catch up on posts and report back.
Much Love XNeed to start again0 -

Morning all.
Feeling bright and cheerful after yesterday. Not AFD, Had some wine, 4.5 units and got an early night. Might try and catch some more sleep but wanted to say I'm officially off the sofa and capable of enjoying my day today.
Have a good day everyone. Sunny here in London.0
