Hello there :hello:
Its been ages since I've posted but have been lurking of late
Can I please join again for August? I am away for 2 weeks so realisticly I think 16 AFD's may be achievable!! Miss Piggy can you please put me down for that?
In the last few months my alcohol consumtion has gone from bad to worse, for no reason really other than I don't seem to have the ability to say no  but what with financial worries and constant tierdness which I know is linked to my drinking I really have to make changes.
Right Im off to read back over the last few days of the tread to see what you've all been up to and be inspired
Mari x
I was incapable of saying no, I had financial worries, and was permanently knackered, and that's when I drank the most.
I got really down about it. Why couldn't I say no? Why was I drinking when there were consequences more than just a sore head?
Why was I drinking more?
It was only when I got help for my condition and admitted I was alcoholic then I could break the cycle.
It's not an easy cycle to break, good luck.0 -

Welcome Debtmonkey!! Great thread this. I'm the scorer for August - why not set a target amount of alcohol free days?
GC - Sorry, just wanted to clear up confusion. I won't be drinking Saturday. My friend accepts quite happily that I'm not drinking. Just don't want to go basically!!
