This is great news! I usually hole myself up in the kitchen or the bathroom and drink to oblivion when footies on, tonight I shall curl up in the chair in the same room as the footie and read my book :T:T

Moooorning! Not meaning to keep away so much; just no time.

I'm having my cavity walls filled at the mo so peaceful it is NOT . Lucky I remembered there are air vents in the bedrooms & DD's is jammed open - her room could've been filled at the same time:rotfl:.

Also having a new fireplace fitted in the living room - it's bedlam here! I can't escape either; brain of britain didn't think to move the car before anyone arrived so now there are two lorries on the drive blocking me in, doh!

The stuff they pump into the walls is made from recycled glass; the comments are too obvious!

Better go & put the kettle on again......

Have been distracted because I had my first disaster on Ebay tonight. Someone got my item for 99p. Worth £80 to buy new. Local pick too. The cheek of it!! I don't think I could do that!

    What a pain!

OMG I am so so exhausted this morning 1219_tired_smiley_drinking_coffee.gif I opened my eyes and laid there for a minute trying to recall how much I had actually drunk, then realised that I hadn't drunk any at all :j:j:j

    I have done that before.:rotfl:

Not sure if I am going to be AF again today. You lot are all making me look worse, lots of people are doing great this month.:T

Oh YM sorry to hear about the car; great things until they go wrong. It's not old though - mine is 1999 & it's the newest car I've ever had! My Saab ("Betsy") was 20 when I finally had to let her go (looking at a £2k mot....) & - I swear this is a true story - I sold her via Trade-It for £100 (based on the fact there were 3 months tax left & it saved me the hassle of getting her scrapped) to a man who was blind in one eye, who came round to look at it after dark!!!! You couldn't make it up!! He came back the next day with the cheque & was really pleased it looked better then he expected in daylight! It was literally falling to bits, & sometimes the steering jammed & it wouldn't turn right; I often had to come off roundabouts at the exit before the one I really wanted. And I used to ferry DD round as a baby in this vehicle.....

ETA: I cried when he drove her away :o
