Hi all-am now convinced we are all bonkers, particularly those of you partial to a bit of French.

Gosh this threads moving so fast.

Cazza-good luck with tomorrow-cancers such an appauling illness, I really feel for you. You take care.

Fay-stop thinking your PhD might be in jepardy-nearly everyone I know who does one has a crisis at some point, its such a lonely existance sometimes, and when you are concentrating so hard on something unique and specialised it can feel that noone really understands the pressure you are under-just remember the 'willows' need people like you, don't let them down!!!! It sounds to me like a change of superviser might be a good idea?

Hi to everyone else, lovely to see Mrs BHB, hugs though...men who think they can fix computers, then spending 10 hrs trying to do it and failing are a nightmare, particularly when after all that you still have to call out a spotty teenager who fixes it in 10 minutes...ouch.

Good luck everyone tonight and tomorrow....hugs to those that need them.
  • ((((((((Hugs Marru)))))))) we're not in a dissimilar situation here - OH is 'retired' and living in France - they have horses, money, mansion, etc etc etc we don't see any of it (Especially money! definately not money) - the kids see it eventually - and to be honest we are better off for not living in such 'false' money situation. I know its pants but just hang on in there - I'd never want to be my ex- seeing kids only a few times a year - you are lovely and have a lovely time with your DD - eek about the accidents - maybe a tummy bug or nerves with school - re the dog walking can she use a bike or someting when she is with you? Might make the time together fun? xx Just a thought adventures with doggies make her enjoy the late summer/early autumn its a lovely time of year. xx

YM 2 for me dearheart :)

Night all and waes to Miss P :)
Your kids will see in the end

  • Hi E - thanks I hear what you are saying sorry for grumbling :) - trying to change supervisor and I have just been put on a final probation of 3 months to improve my writing to upgrade or write up my work to an MPhil. The willows will be fine either way as I will definately write up what I have done to date so I will do my willows proud - ta for the virtual hug - away to rehearse presentation again!

    My slides await :)
