Yes, nite HB!
Not that you asked me Jo, but I'm re-reading a Jilly Cooper, still funny but so DATED! No mobiles, no internet, & it's "only" 20 yrs old. And everyone's drinking morning noon & night, gallons of the stuff. Nearly finished it now....then mrian Keyes
btw you did well earlier, eating that chinese so fast :rotfl::rotfl: (actually I mean only buying milk, of course)0 -
Bon soir, mes amis!
Just thought I'd join in with a bit of froggie speak
AF for me again tonight, although MAJOR wobble earlier. It hit me about 5pm-ish so I rung my OH immediately to chat about it and ended up going to Sainsbugs and getting some nice munchies and more J20. It's the first time I've been to a supermarket on my own and not bought myself some booze for years! YEAH! :j
GG - I understand how you feel. I am guilty of being envious of other people's jobs their money or if someone goes travelling to amazing places abroad (it's my dream to go travelling). When I feel like that I always try to focus on the good things in my life, but I know it's hard to do that when you feel low about things.
I have a difficult day tomorrow. A wonderful woman I knew died of cancer last week and it's her funeral tomorrow. She died in her husband's arms, looking into his eyes, hugging him and telling him everything will be ok. She was selfless to the end. She would do anything for anyone, so I'm sure the crematorium tomorrow will be packed to the rafters.
Things aren't so bad when you look at the big picture, but I appreciate it's often hard to see the wood for the trees - I still do it myself. We are all still here, able to post and enjoy eachother's company and support. We have a roof over our head, food on the table and we have our health. Armed with those things, the world can be our oyster.........
Have a great night everyone. Obviously I won't be online tomorrow. I will be paying tribute to an amazing lady who had so much to give and was taken from us all too soon...........
Hugs and love to everyone.

P.S I will be AF tomorrow, despite the circumstances. He who does not economize will have to agonize (Confucius)
Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship (Benjamin Franklin) :eek:0 -
