Sorry big gap there. Got delayed by work  :D

    Jo

I dont know the answer but you CAN do this. You have beaten smoking you have so much going for you and you are a lovely person. It is hard but not as hard as the alternative. Sorry to be a bit harsh there.

You take care now and do as ange says and start walking,Biking, Knitting or whatever it takes to occupy your time. Dont walk the Peak district though, May be a bit of a trek to start with ;)

Sorry in advance for miserable post....(cue to skip it!!)

God knows what's up with me today, I've been up since 5 (well I had to get up to wave ym off to work ;):D) (:hello:ym) & I feel so WOUND UP. One road I've never gone down is a drink in the morning (I test myself sometimes, imagining having one, & have always been reassured that I've never felt tempted) but I swear that if I'd had any white wine in the house I'd've been on it by about 8 o'clock. Good job I drank it all last night :o:rolleyes:. Even in this mood I wasn't going to have red! I'll spare you the detail but issues with OH, so I rang him at 7.30 to pick a fight!! I was out with the dog. Not relevant wb. Maybe it's a TOTM thing - yeah, even at my age - but really I'm so strung out. This doesn't bode well for later after a glass or 6. Jeez I must be careful. I'm going to submit this (but sorry am then gonna carry on!) cos I often lose posts on this laptop, always the long ones

It's all so petty, he asked yesterday if I was staying at his tonight - this rattled me 'cos I've been there every Sat night for 4 years!! - then told me I stayed away 3 weeks ago which is pure fiction. Then he said that as I still had this cough I'd be coughing in the spare room. THEN (feel the tension!!) he's taken up a Sunday-morning sporty thing, the only morning of the week we spend together. We haven't had the conversation yet where I say I'm not sitting in his house for 3 hours on my own on a Sunday morning......no doubt that'll be later.....Cazz & Miss P you're not far away look for thunderclouds to the, er, southwest I think. And if he doesn't want me near him with this cough that's the weekend boogered - we were due to go away on the boat overnight tomorrow.

    Caaaaaalm (not)

Feeble huh? Sorry, had to offload & there you all were!!

Jo sorry you're not happy today. You will will will get there, believe in yourself.

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit glum and gloomy WB. Being a Man not very good at emotional and relationship issues but like to wish you all the best and let you know I am thinking of you.

Hey WB it's ok to offload and unload all the stored up feelings and emotions, let it out girl it's ok.

Don't what advice to give you about your OH - how about a nice pamper night in on your own. Lots of pampering to distact yourself eg nice bath, facemask, candle, something nice to eat and then what ever you want to drink (A or AF) in a nice calmed and relaxed way. Watch something you like on TV or DVD an enjoy it.

Then see how you and OH feel about spending Sat night apart. Then he might value your time together more. I've been through this and it worked in a kind of way. I used to sit on my own at the weekend knocking a bottle of wine back for 3 evenings, not now and I feel more comfortable with my own company now.

Don't know if this will help but a big hug anyway x

    Hello all,

I have quarter of litre sherry in the cupboard and I shall drink it tonight while catching up with this thread. I just promised BF that I won't buy any more so I could use all the help available. All soppy details I am sure will follow...
