It'll only be a rubbish 12/30 by the end of tonight I'm afraid Mrs P...lots of falls this week.

Not going to get despondent though.

    Honest....

Don't be despondent - 12/30 is still 12 so pat yourself on the back for those :)

I was born in 73 so some of us are pretty close in age. Do you think we hit our mid thirties and suddenly realise we're getting old!?!:rotfl:

Cheers dearz, but it's a bit crap really. Half the time I don't actually want it...it's just 'there'. Laziness is all it is, and force of habit. I'm spending far too much money, and the anxiety / panicky things are starting to stir now and again, so I'd like to get back on the wagon for a good amount of time and clean myself out again.

Biking is still going great - clocked up a total of about 540 miles now, which by my reckoning is about the same as cycling 2.1% of way around the earth. I think my 60 miles charity ride on September 6th should be a doddle...but I want to be sure. Up until now I've been able to do long distances but always with the reassurance that 'I can stop if I feel knackered and nobody will see'. This time, there's the pressure of people watching me!!!!

Wow! That's seriously impressive - if you were cycling anywhere near me I'd come & look at you too :D

My sister said she saw that episode and it was quite informative.

  • Hammond got 2 friends, - one teetotal one drinker - to swap for a couple of weeks. The tt one is having one pint of beer a day. Her sleep has become disturbed and her concentration worse, while the one who stopped is feeling a whole lot better.
Duh, why didn't I work this out years ago:o.

Meanwhile he is having liver tests as he turns out to be a 50+ units a week man.

Keep catching myself looking in the mirror and seeing a middle aged woman. Really scares me!!!

Not AF tonight. I worked my socks off round the house today and have treated myself to one of those diddy bottles. Very nice.

GP - I think you're amazing. I used to watch my brother cycle. In his younger years he entered time trials and races and I was always amazed by all the cyclists stamina. You have my admiration!!
