(The spelling is intentional, so don't worry) ;)

But I have to admit I have been totally off track :o for the last three nights in a row I have had a bottle of red wine each night  and another confession I ate 6 bags of weight watchers crisps yesterday . I have just not been myself at all.

Anyways I have given myself a good talking to and I am af tonight and I have been to the gym, I need to get back on the healthy eating and fitness track.

It doesn't make any sense, as I did 6 months without a drink, as our lovely Gc says it is so easy to fall back into bad habits. But for what its worth I am feeling in control again and I aim to be a good Budgie from now on and behave myself ;)

    :T (That's for me)

I've been to a retirement party tonight with old colleagues. Before joining this thread I would have been absolutely legless with these particular friends, slept wherever and rolled home about lunchtime tomorrow. Tonight I drove there (30 miles away and no partners) promising myself a single glass of wine and then I had a bottle (bought specially this afternoon) to lay into when I got home. Instead I drank water all night, had a surprisingly good time and told myself it would be a waste of an AF night to drink when I got in after midnight.

So here I am with my hot Ribena. It's the first time I've done 5 nights in a row for years and years (could be 20?). I'm really proud of myself if a bit stunned.

Lovely new thread, shows how chatty and popular we all are. Have a good weekend everyone.

    9AF please Jo.

Oh Darling Budgie. The thought of you being naughty just really made me giggle. You are ALWAYS so good . When I read this I thought - go girl you deserve it :T:T.

BTW - the hygenist wasn't too bad . The thought of it is always worse than the reality. Can't say the same for the other one though ... last time after 2 visits to the doctor and 2 failed attempts:confused::confused: I had do go to the hospital to have it done:eek::eek: . (Sorry guys!:o). Too much information:rotfl::rotfl:

    Have a lovely weekend .

10AF please Jo, when you've got time.

Well done, Maman & YF - it does feel good doesn't it. Somehow we need to keep that feeling going or get it back once we've fallen off the wagon.

Good luck everyone for the weekend.
