Hope it's nothing too serious.

Cazza - Just try and remind yourself of the reasons you are trying not to drink. Failing that i find that eating something normally negates my cravings.
Good luck all on staying AF tonight.

Oooooooooooh, can't stand by and not defend the truth. There are more United in Manchester than City, and i'm one of them!
Ahhhhh, I feel better now.
Drink cravings appeared when I was driving back from my allotment, well its just a mess of weeds n plastic at the moment, and I wanted beer. I drove past pubs with people standing outside drinking lager, beer seemed to be everywhere but as soon as I got home and saw my son I felt my resolve stiffen and the feeling went again.
maybe I was just thirsty? I don't know, but this battle is far from won.
Keep strong everyone and hope you all meet your goals tonight.

Hi everyone
I'm much happier today, started painting DD2s bedroom and quite getting into the decorating now. Yesterday was a foul day due to arguments with DD1 and Mr PIR. I drank a lot of white wine last night - I haven't done that for a long time, but my willpower left me last night.
Miss Piggy - at last I have another AFD to add. Only 5 so far, which is appalling. But I have been on holiday and also I'm very anxious about starting the new job soon. I'll be OK again next month. Thanks for your hard work with the scores. And thanks, too, to Mr YM for volunteering for next month. Glad to hear you are a Man U fan - the players all live near me in sickeningly huge houses:rotfl:
Good luck to all who wish to remain AF tonight
Bi for now xxTotal AFD's May-December 2009: 178 ie 73% of total days (245 days)

Hello peeps,
Well I am on my first AFD for about 5 years I reckon apart from when I was in hospital in June for back surgery.
Joined up here last week and even then failed miserably on the first couple of attempts. OH brought home wine and I didnt have the will power to say no. Well there is no choice tonight - there is nothing in the house, and i will not be going out.
Was doing okay until saw one of my friends posts on Facebook saying how she was enjoying a nice cold glass of wine....Aaaghhhh.....it's so difficult.
Felt real sh*t yesterday all day after a heavy weekend - got an interview for a job i really want tomorrow, so just keep telling myself that if I drink I will not be at my best tomorrow and will screw the interview!
Its so tempting the jump in the car and go to the garage! The demons is in my head saying "Go on - one glass will help you relax & sleep" fresh for the interview!!
But Im not giving in. I can do one night......surely!0
