James Wright was no way a RICS surveyor - his ignorance regarded house prices really irritated me. He arrived in a beat up old van - wish I had taken the reg down ans as for that Ruth Sharpe she sure was a smarmy s***.
We will get them and make them pay for this dearly.

My bank are not very helpful although they have acknowledged receipt of my signed declararubytion claiming that I was defrauded. When I mentioned the FOs the operator quickly took stock and jotted down all information that i provided which shows that at no time was I negligent.0

Hi Everyone, I to was stupidly scammed by this company, I had paid them the valuation fee of £99 + vat in June, they sent a surveyor round, they then offered on my property which I accepted as I was desperate to sell, I then had to pay the balance of their fee of £914.40, I instructed my solicitor who I had to pay £275 to for the leasehold info, all seemed to be going swimmingly, then in august I got a call saying that my investor had a death in the family and had to go abroad so completion wouldn't be until October. It was only when I tried to ring last week that I got the cut off tone, then checked the website and saw the message. I phoned consumer direct who just took down the details, I phoned my bank who said the the issue was with me and the company, they really didn't care that I had been scammed or that the company was a fake! I had used a Maestro card so they could't help apparently. Trading Standards phoned me to ask for the details and just said there is not much they could do and I have been scammed, well thanks, I know that!! I have now received a final bill of £300 from my solicitor, great!
What now, I dont know, there doesn't seem to be anything that anyone can do!
So it seems to make it in this world set up a fake company steal peoples money cause no one cares and you wont get cought, apparently!!
So p****d off!
I refuse to believe that there is nothing that anyone in authority can do about this!0 -
Surely everyone should report this as theft, first to their banks and then to the police?0
-
No, the first port of call is Trading Standards on 08454040506. When they have enough evidence, they will involve the police. In the meantime, we should try to get the press involved to raise awareness.0

I read the first page and that was enough.
It is rather sad that these chancers make a load more money than honest workers. The Police are too busy catching motorists and ignoring local thugs to bother with this kind of crime.

Theft is theft, your bank has given your money to someone else without your permission. If this happened to me I'd complain to the bank, and if it wasn't resolved to the police. It is a crime after all.0

Can I suggest that anyone that has paid a fee (ie given credit card details) to FDI stops their card NOW. The police will probably state it's a civil matter."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
Can I urge all of you that have lost money to phone the number given here for Trading Standards as they have been very helpful to me in telling me what to do to try and reclaim my money. They want as many people as possible to contact them and then they can get the police involved and maybe we will all get something done. I have heard from my bank Natwest today that their investigation department are not prepared to do a chargeback for me or help in any way as I "willingly and freely gave my account details to the company for payment of the valuation." It is my fault for doing this! I shall fight this all the way.0
