Sky Sports / ESPN - Scottish Football

Now that Sky and ESPN have been awarded the contract to cover the SPL, does anyone know what the deal to get ESPN will be?
I have the sports package, but there is nothing on Sky's site at the moment (except a registration option to recive more info when available) to say if ESPN will be part of this package or they will charge an additional cost.
The games will be split across the two channels, so there is definitely the opportunity for Sky to charge and make more money off it's customers.:(

I can't imagine Sky and/or ESPN showing football they've paid for on Freeview. Why would they? Possibly TUTV or a subscription DTT equivalent of Setanta, but even that's unlikely given Sky's involvement. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.

Will ESPN be broadcasting a HD channel as well?0

All good questions folks which I'd be interested to hear the answers to. Out of interest, where did the £9 and £12 figures come from Atlantis mate?John

Just called Sky folks and here's the gen:
ESPN will be £9/£12 as mentioned. Also there will be 60 Scottish league and cup games shown, equally split between ESPN and Sky. There will be an ESPN HD channel although I don't know if this will show Scottish football, and apparently ALL Old Firm games will be on Sky Sports.
Hope this helps.John

The bit about cup games is interesting because the deal was signed betwen SPL and ESPN. I didn't realise the SFA had signed up to them as well.0 -
That was a bit off assumption on my part mate as SKy told me that there would be 60 Scottish games split equally between Sky and ESPN. As the SPL is only 38 games long I put 2 and 2 together. I may be wrong....John

Sky already have the Scottish cup rights but the 60 games is just league games according to the press releases.0

In fact I was being a daftie! I was thinking only of my team having 38 games in an SPL season, rather than every team playing the same amount!
