Fairyelephant - thats great news :j kept checking thread until I saw your name pop up with the best news ever - like others have said, listen to your body and TAKE IT EASY :D

Last day of my week off :( Went to Herne Bay yesterday for a paddle, fish and chips and an ice cream :D Lovely weather, not too hot. Today have popped out to Mr S and M&S for some bits for the weekend. No cooking for me tonight though :j as it's DS2 birthday tomorrow (23 already  :o) and as he is going out for a meal with his friends then, we are having a Chinese takeaway tonight to celebrate. Made him a cake and froze it so will ice and decorate it tomorrow and he can have some of that with his lunch lol.

Just made a pile of hobnobs, half in biccie tin and other half in freezer. Have just changed all the beds and have finished my Mr T online shop. No vouchers to be found anywhere AGAIN. This is about the 4th week of paying full whack for my online shop, am not happy  .

Keeping one eye on the weather, have just had a short shower but don't know if there is any more rain up there as my washing is nearly dry but it will have to stay out there a little longer now.

Have a good day all xxxx

    Fairy elephant - That's wonderful news :j:j:j:j

    Happy birthday to Noah :bdaycake:

hilstep - So sorry to hear the news about your DD (((HUGS))) to you all.

Welcome back Donny-Gal! Glad you had a good time and mostly fine weather. We've been to Normandy 4 times and the weather has been quite varied - the year before last it rained hard for more than 24 hours where we were!

Essex-Girl - So pleased to hear about the new contract

Lemon Verbena - Well done on those bargains! Hope you'll really enjoy getting your house looking the way you want it (maybe then you could come and do mine :o I had great fellow feeling with the lady on "Home for Life" last night (started watching it out of curiosity) who said she'd realised the reason they liked going away so much was to get away from the house!

MSD and Betheebee - Hope you're ok!

LameWolf - Great news about the dogsitting!:T

Thriftlady - How strange, I tried pressing Alt + 130, and it worked as you said - but when I tried to show you in my post, it appeared as an exclamation mark instead even though it was an e acute when I was typing! Have a lovely time, and don't forget raingear just in case. A few years ago we'd just got on the ferry when I realised my new rainjacket was still hanging up in the hall at home :o DH had to buy me a new one while we were there - thankfully the first few days were dry

Oh dear, sorry, I can't remember what anyone else has said :o

Went to dentist this morning for a checkup etc, need an x-ray too so it was a real pain in the wallet

Dinner will be fish and chips from the chip shop - Friday treat :D

    .
Oh dear that's not what I want to hear:( I'm not taking anything much. I'm so sick of hauling the contents of my storecupboard on holiday with me and it just seems plain daft to take my bread from the freezer -we'll be in France for goodness sake lol! Oh well we're already spending considerably less on a week in France (inc travel) than we did last year for a week in Yorks so maybe we can afford to spend a little more on food.

Thanks for all the holiday wishes. I'm sure we'll have a great time. Up at 4.30 tomorrow:eek: Which bit of Normandy are you off to Penny?

Happy birthday Mrs Moneypenny  and I'm so excited for you Fairy Elephant:j:j
