Good morning OS'ers!!
Happy Birthday Miss Moneypenny.
The zoo sounds like fun Halight!
Emotional morning coming up, am off to DS's leavers assembly at 10.30, so must remember to take tissues! He starts secondary school in September. Where has the time gone?
DD is also leaving, she is moving to a school nearer where we live, although I'm keeping my fingers crossed it may only be a few weeks, as we're appealing another school that we applied to and is full. So, all change on the school front.
Booked today off work because I knew it was leavers assembly, so a nice day at home. I would have been doing an 11 hour shift today, so quite glad not to be in!
Didn't even get to read the thread yesterday, so might go and do that now. Doubt anything remotely OS will be happening here today or the weekend (I'm working!). Need to do a list of jobs to do over the summer, as I have 5 weeks off and there is various things I'd like to get done.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Morning all!
Hilstep - sorry to hear about your dd losing her baby, you are all in my thoughts and prayers xx
Churchmouse - glad your son is feeling so much better now xx
Redruby - we aren't far from Taunton, about 20 mins! If you fancy meeting up for a cuppa when you're visiting then let me know. Lots of great places to visit locally too xx
Mrs MP - Have a fabby doo day, ignore the ironing and do something that makes you smile, it's your day xx
La Dame d'Economie - enjoy your hols, looking forward to my few days in France in September, and hopefully a bit of sunshine! xx
Happy birthday Noah, hope that everything today makes you smiley and happy! NPM - enjoy the day as well, your posts both inspire me and make me giggle xx
Well today has so far involved very little os, other than washing the pots, S&S the kitchen and kids bathroom! Currently sitting on my bed wrapped in a towel and considering getting dried and dressed - sorry if tmi this time of day lol!
Will at some point be trying to sort out dd2's passport app which is turning into some kind of 7 circles of hell type thing! Will then do hoovering and make a shopping list and whizz to mr t's - got a £6 off £40 voucher and £4 off £40 voucher as till spits the other day, we have a waitrose opening nearby soon, hoping they'll both work together, need to stock up on washing powder and loo rolls and cheap stuff for the hols - ice pops so that I'm not blowing a fuse when the kids offer everyone an ice cream, super noodles for when ds wants yet another snack, and cheap crisps to dish up with sarnies as a treat for lunches! Yep I know how to spoil them! Actually the ready salted value crisps are great, not too many in a pack and no additives, so ideal for ds and dd3.
Also want to start having some plans for free days out for the hols, so will do some browsing and make some lists! Actually I love the summer hols, if nothing else it means that I get a lie in after working nights, luckily my lot all sleep well and like to stay in their beds till lunchtime during the hols! Just before anyone feels like hitting me over the head, I did have ds up at 5 most mornings until he was about 11!
Lunch today for kids was hm rolls with marmite, cheese cubes, apple, hm yoghurt and a choc biscuit. Mine will be whatever I fancy after shopping, something cheesy I suspect!
Dinner will be cottage pie for the kids, will be making a huge batch in moski, bulked out with a ton of veg, oats and lentils - actually remembered to get mince out of freezer last night, made me smile as was a whoopsied pack of steak mince for the grand total of 30p!
Got my best friend popping round this aft after his boys' sports day, and then meant to be off to watch Bruno at the cinema with oh, but think it'd be better if we just had a chat and tried to sort out all the issues that keep coming up before it all gets out of control! How come relationships are so bloomin complicated?!
Anyway, have a great day one and all and hugs where needed xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning Chums , looking a bit damp here at the moment .Last history class this afternoon until September. All set for an early start on Monday morning DD and I are off to Amsterdam to see her beloved U2.She is so excited ,she still hasn't heard from the hospital about her scan It will probably come whilst we are away I bet.
I bought some euro's yesterday not so many now as you used to get 115 to £100.Good job we are only there until Wednesday morning. I am going to treatmyself to some nice perfume and some for my eldest DD as she hasto work and doesn't break up until Tuesday.
I have finished all my ironing this morning and now just have to put the darned stuff away I wonder why I hate doing that.Going to go to colleg a bit earlier so I can drop some rubbish off at the tip and maybe pop into Aldi's to get some of their cheap fruit.have a great week end everyone
