Don't see why not, it is Disney accommodation your staying in?

Just to note, once I told virgin that I wasn't going to use them they offered to price match AND include the Harry potter early entry benefit at universal.
Annoyingly I had just received the shipping confirmation from undercover tourist, I might have saved myself the $30 shipping costs but thankfully we are staying at universal so aren't missing out on the Harry potter early entry.
You win some, you lose some!
They did a brilliant price match discount for the whole holiday so I can't really complain!0 -
That's good to know Sazpot, we've booked with Virgin and have a note of how much our park tickets are going to be so will try to get them to price match! Hoping they'll do a good deal on the car hire upgrade too.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Morning all,
Looking at taking a holiday to Florida in April 2016. Deals from the Tour Ops seem to have gone live in the last week or so.
We've seen a deal via Thomsons that I feel is good value, but wanted other peoples opinions.
Its £998pp and includes 14nts at the Holiday Inn near Universal Studios in a self catering suite, car hire, return flights via Dreamliner (inc meals, drinks and baggage) and also includes unlimited 2 park tickets for Universal and a 14 Day Disney pass.
Flights alone are looking at £750pp at the minute, so seem to get quite a lot for the extra £250. I know we could wait for cheaper flights, and book the accomm ourselves, but then once we add on park tickets, car hire etc I've never managed to get it near that price.
Any opinions? Any opinions on the hotel too, location, etc?
Thanks.Lea0 -
Considering Orlando next year with the wife and 2 kids (5 and 2 at time of travel).
Flying from glasgow what is ideally(cheapest) the best time of year to go? I was considering May/june.
Done a quick check and can get flights through BA for 1700 for all 4, is this reasonable? Would I get cheaper flights and accommodation if i booked closer to the time?
How about staying on site at WDW? What is the most reasonable way of doing this?
Sorry for all the questions but any help would be appreciated.0 -
I'd choose May if its between the two.
June coincides with the start of the US school holidays and South Americans holidays, went second and third week of June this year and all the parks were packed constantly.MFW 2017 No 41 £835.79/£1000

I'd go to Islands of Adventure instead Classy. There's a few child-friendly areas there which will be more fun for your LO than Universal which in general is a more adult park.
On the subject of LOs, has anyone done Disney with a child under 2?! My DS will be 20 months when we go next November and I'm looking for any hints and tips for surviving it!
We did this August, the youngest was 13 months. The worst part was the flight really, he just wouldn't stay still! We decided early mornings in the parks an back again of an evening, the parks seemed quieter and the temperature was more bearable. This was especially true fir Harry potter world and the Places look so good in the dark!0 -
Hi, just found this thread, has anyone used Florida escapes . co .uk, they seem really good prices for the itrolley and blueman group tickets0

Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of advice, (well a lot really) on taking my son to Disney.
I want to go in 2016, around May, and it'd just be myself and my son who will be 8 or 9 at the time. First of all, is May a good time to go?
I don't drive, so would like to stay on site and I'm wondering how easy it'd be to get to other places, such as Universal Studios, Seaworld, and maybe Epcot, from Disney? Are there any that are a hassle to get to?
At the moment he's a bit of a baby when it comes to rides and if they look too fast or scary he won't go on them (hopefully that will change!). That might be to do with me dragging him on Big Thunder Mountain in Paris when he was younger, think it's put him off for life lol. He does like superheroes and Harry Potter. Any suggestions about parks for his age group with this in mind?
Also, will it be easy to transfer from Airport to Disney and back again, and cheaper to book them myself separately?
Any advice for dining? Am I best buying a dining option and would I be able to get an offer on them? I think I'd prefer a dining option so it'd be one less thing to worry about, but I'm open to suggestions.
What price would 2 weeks for 1 Adult and 1 Child would you consider reasonable with all things factored in, like food, transfers and Disney tickets?
That's all the questions I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure I'll have more lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
TIAThere's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
