Hi there - we have provisional plans to go to orlando - wdw mainly - in 2016.
We will be going late july/ early august (non negotiable) and are wondering what the best deals are likely to be on flights and accommodation (villa or holiday home ideally).
Please can anyone gives me some tips?

The flights will be expensive as the summer hols. think about the airport you fly from.
If you use Tesco's, look into converting the clubcard points to either Virgin Miles or Avios £200 of clubcard points will get you a return flight + taxes etc - still way cheaper then the £1000 + for the flight, assuming availability.
We have always rented a villa out there, through owners direct / holiday lettings.
If you have a confirmed flight, you can possibly haggle over the price.Private Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
Off to Solana Resort for 14 nights September next year, can't wait! Taking a 3 year old with me, so much of the days out will be spent at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Seaworld and Hollywood Studios.
Is it worth taking a 3 year old to Universal Studios? There will only be us 2 parents and the child so not overly fussed about going on the thrill rides ourselves, as we can only go on one at a time! Just wondering if there is enough for a small child there (we won't park hop)0 -
I'd go to Islands of Adventure instead Classy. There's a few child-friendly areas there which will be more fun for your LO than Universal which in general is a more adult park.
On the subject of LOs, has anyone done Disney with a child under 2?! My DS will be 20 months when we go next November and I'm looking for any hints and tips for surviving it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Islands of Adventure is great for little ones. Seuss Landing is brilliant0 -
Hi everyone, we're going to WDW in November next year as part of our honeymoon. As we're going to New York afterwards, a return transfer to MCO isn't included in our booking. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can we just book ourselves on to the magical express?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

I don't think Universal is a good match for younger children. We go with our grandchildren and the littlest one (she's nearly 3) spends most of the day hanging around waiting for the taller ones to get off the rides! I also don't think it's as little child friendly as the Disney parks. Save your money on tickets this time and visit again when your little one is tall enough to do the rides with you!
Have a look at the height restrictions for the rides, it may make it easier for you decide whether to go or not.

Whatever you do, have fun!Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!!:eek:0 -
Hi All,
I am after some help, am off to Universal/Royal Caribbean Cruise/Disney over xmas and am getting very confused by park tickets.
I have tried reading the guide but would like some advice from those of you in the know.
We are currently looking for 3 days park to park at universal (18-20 Dec) and 6 days park hopper for disney (28 Dec - 2 Jan), what do you think our best ticket options are?
Virgin are suggesting a universal ultimate ticket ($194) and disney 6 day hopper ($397).
Do these prices seem about right? Universal have a 3 days for 2 for US residents on their site which I assume we cant use
I am really not prepared for this trip at all!
Thanks,
Sazpot0 -

Try looking on Undercovertourist for tickets, although you're cutting it a bit fine. You need to book them now.0 -
