ACE! we fly 9th June 2015 I hope its relatively quiet(if there is such a thing!) We really wanted to stay at the Animal Kingdom lodge but it was just a bridge too far outside of our budget. I assume I wear these badges everywhere? I wish I had done that when I got engaged at MK!!!

I would also like to surprise her with a couple of 'romantic' things, again any ideas are much appreciated.

Unfortunately you arrive just at the start of our summer holidays...my kids in Osecola finish June 3rd, as do a lot of us and South American schools

292 days until I go back, not that I am counting.

I have my shopping list of football boots already set. I may start to think about purchasing my tickets for Universal, any suggestions on where is best. I already have Disney and Seaworld sorted.

    Cleats lol

Yeah I have just been reading up on it. Does it get stupidly busy?

I should have checked the disney app in June this year.

Even I had to look up scrimmage! We call them friendlies, in football anyway.

I am actually slightly sad that it will be busy.

For anyone currently in Orlando, or planning to go to Orlando within the next 4 months, the following maybe useful to you.

'Ripley's Believe It Or Not' on International Drive is currently available on the Livingsocial website.

It is listed at half price (50% discount), but until Monday there is an additional 15% coupon available - Use discount code 'DISCOVER'.

The additional 15% discount is valid until this Monday 13/10/14. The tickets purchase are valid for 4 months from the day of purchase.

    $14.45 for 2 people = approx £4.50 each.
    $27.20 for 4 people = approx £4.25 each.

If you have ever been to International Drive you will remember seeing this one - The building looks as though it is falling down (It isn't really, it is made to look that way).

I've been here before and if you look around it at a leisurely pace it will take a couple of hours to do.

This should be a direct link (If I've done it right!):

    https://www.livingsocial.com/deals/1235242-tickets-to-ripley-s-believe-it-or-not-museum

Hope this is useful to someone.

How about a horse and carriage ride at Port Orleans Riverside? Concierge at your resort would be able to book it for you. Its about $45.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

Thanks! Something like that is perfect for brownie points! It will allow me to buy another pair of football boots!

Off to Orlando in 63 days time - just in time for Christmas. Never been before and didnt realise this was one of the busiest times ever. We have 10 days excluding arrival and departure day.

Two adults, no children approx 50yrs old....don't want to do loads of rides although will do some that are not too stomach churning..!
Anyway drafted up a basic itinerary

    Magic Kingdom 2 days
    Epcot 2 days
Seaworld or Discovery Cove (1 day)
    Busch or Seaworld (1 day)
Universal Studios (not the side with HP World) 1 day
Cocoa Beach and Kennedy Space Centre 1 day
Clearwater Beach (no Parks!) 1 day.
    1 day spare!

Not quite sure if our feet will cope with that, but that part aside, does this seem sensible - in particular do we need 2 days at the first two ?

Appreciate any tips! Not started to buy tickets yet.
