Well been here 2 weeks now and orlando immigration cocked up my entry so when I checked my i94 they had only admitted me for 3 months....idiots...of course they wanted me to go back to correct their error....which I did 8am appointment...

I then go to the social security office to find they had amended the duration but changed my entry class to tourist so I can't work....complete muppets!

Aaarrggghh... mmm I'm so frustrated for you. Presumably this is all stuff that can be sorted out though even if you do need to put up with incompetence in the meantime.

Other than all the bad stuff, how's life in paradise?

Hello again. I’m currently considering a WDW on site holidaythis October. Price is the deciding factor really!

The main reason for considering onsite being that I’m a bit nervous aboutdriving and it will just be my DD (5) and myself. So I was thinking that onsitewould be good for transportation issues, especially if we were somewhere likethe dolphin or contemporary resort (thinking monorail here).

Also, due to holidays we could only go for 7-9 nights so staying onsite makesme feel like we would be able to maximise our time there. I have been to WDW 5times now, but never stayed on site. I’m looking for the most cost effectiveway of getting what suits us.

Can I have your thoughts and top tips please? Flight wise have to fly from Scotlandwhich appears to make the cost rocket :/

r.mac, it's worth also checking out the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd. You'll have buses (not as good as Disney transport but not bad and better than many off sites), you can also get free transfers to the big outlet mall at the bottom of I Drive (Premium Outlets) and there is a bus from the same road to get elsewhere in Orlando. They are often a lot cheaper too, though obviously no meal plans. Bear in mind though that you won't get the free Disney Magical Express from the airport.

Hello All! Just after a little advice please!

Im planning on going to Orlando next Feb, probably just before half term, for 4 weeks. I will be going on my own and then joined for the last two weeks by some family and we will hopefully travel home together (flight availability permitting).

I would like to stay at the Rosen Inn International as it is a hotel I know well, and I like its location, and as it will be my first solo trip I thought it would be good to go to somewhere I know. The main issue is price - around £1500. Do you think thats a good price? I can see flights on their own for around £600 return but even with or without flights the hotel seems to cost around the £1500 mark. What do you think?

Thank you for your time :-)

(Found flights for £400, so may look at trying a different hotel and make some savings)

Booking My honeymoon later this year, and we have decided to go and stay in a WDW resort. ( I proposed to her there last year)

This will be my eighth time there, her second.

Any advice on who is best to go with, for the resort?

I have only ever stayed in Villa's.
