There are quite a few VA flights in November at £520 - I'd pay that for a direct flight. The outbound total is always higher than the return due to UK taxes etc, so the outbound of £300 tends to only cost £210 ish return (at that time of year)
Thank you! Looks like its worth keeping my eye on them then. We are really flexible so hoping for a good price.0 -

Good to know that sounds like a good price. Been reading about people getting amazing deals on flights but then I guess that's probably not with Virgin. I've been told my little boy will get a suitcase of goodies to play with on the plane from Virgin which has me sold.
Book cheaper flights and buy your own goodies for your son to play with. The Virgin goodies will keep a child entertained for about an hour. You need other goodies for the other 8 hours !0 -
Hey,
I was just wondering if somebody could recommend me some hotel(s) that is/are close to both, universal studios and disney world. We are a family, 2 adults + 2 kids (8 and 10 years) and willing to visit both in the second/third week of november. Everything in the range of $250-300/night for 4 people would be awesome.0 -
Sorry for all the questions - getting closer to booking just wanted some ideas before I do.
Is it better to book flights and accommodation separately or together? I've heard that the prices for accommodation fall drastically closer to the time but flight prices tend to go up so I was thinking of getting flights booked but holding off on the villa? Or would going through someone like Kenwood travel and booking all in one be better?
Also could anyone recommend any good villa resorts? We've been looking at Emerald Island - is it any good?
Thanks again!0 -

You are willing to pay $250-$300 a night for the room? That is a massive budget for Orlando
Will you have a car?
Would you prefer to stay onsite at Disney and / or Universal?
Do you want a hotel room, condo or villa?
It's really impossible to give useful advice without knowing some or all if the above0 -

Emerald Island is a fantastic location for Disney.
I prefer to DIY as I like to keep control (plus it saves me money) but I am prepared to fly indirect with whichever carrier is cheapest.0 -

Depends if they need two rooms/sleeping areas- with that kind of budget I'd be looking at a two bedroom condo or a villa so I had more space and a kitchen.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -

Agree.
If they don't want to drive there's not much point suggesting a villa. Some people prefer to stay onsite in a smaller accommodation for the same money as larger offsite. Some would rather spend as little as possible on the accommodation so they can get more shopping :T
It's pretty useless giving advice without knowing more about the posters needs and wants. There are so many options in Orlando!0
