    Hi guys.

I know this will have been asked a million times but where is best to buy tickets for Disney/Universal? We're there for a week and want to do 4/5 days of parks but don't want any of the 7 or 14 day passes, so is it best to just get them out there? The Magic Your Way system seems to suit us fine it's just where/when to get them!

    Thanks :)

Anyone been to the Enclave Suites. We stopped at the Westgate resort next 10 years ago and liked the location. Didn't have kids then and looking to take a 7 and a 4 year old. Best to get the 2 room suite? BA or Virgin for flights? Which one has the best in-flight entertainment? Looking at 23rd Oct for 2 weeks. Coming in at around £4k with car and insurance. Looked on Virgin site and Lowcostholidays. Anywhere else best to try too? Thanks for any help.
  • We are traveling to Florida in May, and hiring a car, but thinking of using the I-Trolley when we visit International Drive (for ease). This might seem like a silly question, but is there a "park and ride" type car park for people to do this? Or can I just park in a car park outside of a shop for the day and use the I-Trolley to travel up and down International Drive, or are there restrictions on how long you can park for? ANy advice from seasoned travellers would be gratefully received!

I'd imagine you could get away with parking at the Premium Outlets and doing this. :)

You are always going to pay a lot more per day pro rata for a less than 7 day ticket, but when we want a couple of days we use Undercover Tourist.

    http://www.undercovertourist.com/

They ship free to the UK (standard, about 10 days usually although they quote 10 to 12 business days) and send actual tickets, not vouchers. If you sign up to the Mousesavers Newsletter http://www.mousesavers.com/ and click through their link NOT MINE, ABOVE , you get a small extra discount too.

ETA Undercover Tourist are the only company I know of that offer a refund on unused and unsigned tickets too if you have to cancel. They do charge a 5% handling fee, but that's less than an insurance claim excess normally, and you get 100% refund if the cancellation is due to a hurricane.

Yes, we stayed there about 5 years ago and found it just fine. It's nothing fancy but it was clean and fit for purpose (we also had the 2 room suite). We would stay there again (currently taking advantage of free dining on Disney site but when they pull the plug on that, we'll go back to International Drive and almost definitely the Enclave Suites).

My preference is Virgin as they have recently upgraded their in flight entertainment systems so movies and games are on demand rather than on the loop.

£4k sounds reasonable for the 4 of you assuming that's flights, accommodation and car hire.

Enjoy your planning and have a great time!
Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it!!

We've never had a problem parking on I Drive, why don't you want to take your car ?

Personally, we always give I Drive a miss these days, it's very tacky in places.

I agree totally, i didn't want to put people off who haven't been :D

Wonderworks is the only place worth a visit, just the once ! We've not been back either. It's dreadful

We once ventured into a Pizza Hut on I Drive, never again, it was deserted, we soon found out why ! And as for the huge McDonalds, it was very scary in there !

Well, last time I went we didn't have a car and stayed in a hotel on I-drive, so I suppose I didn't get to see much else of Florida, other than the theme parks. I have to admit to being a fan of tacky-shops, anyway... sorry, everybody has a dark secret!

I actually didn't think much of Wonderworks, but I did like Ripley's Believe it or Not, and Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf was also good fun and good value. Ponderosa was also a fantastic breakfast venue, and exceptional value for money.

I'm not sure why I didn't want to drive on I-drive. Probably just nerves about driving out there for the first time, and I can't get my head around driving from car park to car park to car park when thee places I want to visit are all in a row, it just seemed easier to walk along as much of I-drive as I want to see, then catch the I-trolley back to where I parked for the journey back to our villa. I guess I'll just have to start thinking more "American", i.e. if you CAN drive somewhere, why not! Ha ha! Thanks for everybody's help and advice :-)
