Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
One more question please... SIM Cards, I've tried searching the forums but this place is HUGE:eek:

I assume this is a common request for people wanting to stay in touch if they get separated in the parks.

I've been looking at prepaid USA sims for my unlocked phone but some seem quite expensive (though much cheaper than using my Vodafone account)

Does anyone have any pointers/recommendations? Much appreciated to help save some money while over there :j

We didn't do it, but someone suggested getting cheap walkie talkies from Walmart as an alternative to mobiles.

I knew from the start that deciding on which parks etc would be tricky but I never expected it to be as tough as this! Now looking at a Disney/universal combo and been outed £338 for 14 days unlimited. In my mind this would provide us with a pallet of thrill rides and spectaculars. Will also look at discovery cove which will also gives us sea world, aquatica and Busch gardens for £198. Still looking at £2,000 spends between the two of us and we will have bought the tix before, am I over pricing things? Lol

I used teletext direct. I managed to get 3 adult flights in the school summer holidays for under 2K
• Looking to go to florida next year as a family of 8, 5 adults and, 3 children. (9,5 & 3) Do the children get charged the same prices on the plane as adults?

What is the best airline for leg room as we have some very tall flyers?
Is it cheaper to fly to airport outside of Orlando and drive, Which airports would people reccommend?

Sorry for all the questions, I've kind of been designated sorter-outer for everyone!

Hi ,

We are wondering if we can get a trip in this year :)

Last year BA had a sale and I got flights for 367 each at the end of October we would really like to go abit earlier as it was cold !

Anyone heard of any sales coming up, TBH we don't care who we fly with as long as we can get there !

Many Thanks

I'm heading over at the end of September, always been a good time to go as its still warm, its all still open and you get Halloween to boot.

Currently pricing up tickets for myself and the misses and it is working out at £499 per person. Using a website called http://www.americanattractions.co.uk

Details of what we are getting are below, this is access to every major attraction. On top of this we are looking at taking £2,000-£3,000.

Discovery Cove Ultimate (Swim)
Includes Busch Gardens & Seaworld 14 Pass = £168

Same as above excluding Swim = £108

14 Day Ultimate Disney Pass
· Magic Kingdom Park
· Epcot
· Disney’s Hollywood Studios
· Disney’s Animal Kingdom
· Theme Park Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Parks*
· Oak Trail Golf Course
· ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex†
· DisneyQuestIndoor Interactive Theme Park††

Currently same price as 7 Day until the end of July = £229

Universal 2-Park Bonus with Halloween Horror Nights Combo Ticket
14 Day Access – Go to as many Halloween nights as you want = £132

Total £998 (for two us, one is a non swim)
