Hi guys,
our situation has changes slightly and looks like we can afford to get tickets for some other parks apart from disney.
What i am wondering is what is best to do - we could buy them here now, think from searching best for us would be to buy two flex tickets as we are wanting to do Universal (both nparks) and Seaworld. Its cheaper to buy the flex than the two individually from what we have seen.
My question is, is that me and hubby wont be driving while we are over there, so would we be better off waiting to see if there is a coach trip - ticket included or just to do taxi or something?
Not sure of the ins and outs with travel to other parks at all, so wondering if anyone could offer some advice!
we are staying in a disney hotel btw.
Thanks in advance!!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Right, that's villa sorted, flights sorted, tickets to eight parks/attractions sorted - including swimming with dolphins, car hire sorted, Blue Man Group tickets booked........just the car parking this side left...and to get some dollars.
T minus 16 days!
Thanks all for the advice:T.0 -
Do I need a car in Orlando? It's just me & DD & though I'm s confident driver I would prefer not to drive in America if I don't have to. Last time I went to Orlando & drove the other drivers out there petrified me! There were torrential downpours every afternoon for about an hour so heavy you couldn't see & when the rain lifted the roads were litterally littered with crashes! If they can't handle rain I really don't want to be on the road with them! It worried me!
Planning to stay in Disney's All Star Resort, would like to do all of the Disney parks, Nasa, Sea World & one other, maybe Busch Gardens or the crocs or something. But mainly Disney & Nasa.
Airport to hotel transfer I would presume is free both ways, getting to all the Disney stuff I would think is easy by bus / monorail / cab / walking etc?
Getting to Nasa I can book a day trip...
Do I really need a car? Would it make life that much easier or cheaper?
Also is it worth booking excursions here instead of waiting till we get there?
As you are staying on-site at Disney, you can book Disney's Magical Express if landing at Orlando International to get you the All Stars Resort (and return). To get to the parks, use Disney Transportation which will run buses directly from your hotel to the 4 theme parks, both water parks and Downtown Disney. This Transportation Wizard may be handy for you to check on ways to do other journeys e.g if planning to visit The Boardwalk (or to check on journey times to the parks).
You can also get to Seaworld by Public Transport. Get a Disney bus to the Transportation and Ticketing Centre or Downtown Disney, then Lynx Bus #50 to Seaworld.
As someone else noted, you should be able to pick up the Shuttle Coach to Busch Gardens, but be aware that you may arrive mid-morning and return late afternoon/early evening, therefore having reduced time there.

With regard to tickets, it is possible to get a 2 Park 14 Day universal ticket for around the £98 mark (see this site), and a Seaworld one day (with 2nd day free within 7 days) for $72 (around £50) from their own website which may be slightly cheaper than the flex ticket.
Seaworld can be reached by Lynx Bus #50 - get a Disney bus to the Ticketing and Transportation Centre or Downtown Disney and catch the #50 to Seaworld. Buses run until quite late at night.
For Universal, it's much quicker to get a taxi - not sure of the cost, but the Mears Transportation Taxi Estimator should give you an indication. Using the bus would take around 90 minutes.

Just booked my first ever florida holiday, going with my oh on 21st feb- 6th march, paid for visa thingy, insurance, hotel and flights, came to around 1150 for that flying with Virgin from Manchester to Orlando International and staying on International Drive- Best Western. Although, we clicked best western we've had a confirmation through for EconoLodge?! Low cost holidays said they're looking into it and will call me back.
A few quick questions, does anybody know the cheapest place to book tickets from? We're thinking about 5 days at the disney parks (non hopper), 3 days at Universal/Sea World.
Also, does anybody know which would be the best card to use? I found Martin's guide a bit confusing, basically we wan't to take around £750 cash, £750 on a card, its a card we probably won't use much afterwards, will be withdrawing largeish amounts maybe 3/4 times during the stay and won't really be paying for things on in the shop. We also want to be able to have a second (spare) card in case we lose one and end up stuck, does anybody know if this is possible?
Finally, me and the bf are big foodies- if anybody has any good resteraunt suggestions then get in contact!0 -

If you go on www.thedibb.com you will find a wealth of information on all things disney. Currently viator.com have 10% discount on tickets for universal and others but does not include any disney parks. Also look on the dibb for information on good restaurants.Claire0 -
Hi,
Looking to book Discovery Cove tickes for our trip to Florida in Sept 2012.
I have seen a deal offered through Orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk which seems to be part of usrentacar.co.uk.
Has anybody used these for tickets or know anything about them?
