I suppose it depends when you're there, we were there in November last year and it was fairly quiet, very easy to get a lounger or chair in quite a few areas, you can hire Cabana's etc if you want them.
We went twice in our ten day stay, just loved sailing around the lazy river on an inner tube thinking about all the poor souls at home:rotfl:
Hope that helps.0 -
Hello, I hope someone is able to give me some advice. We plan on going to Orlando over Easter next year for two weeks. 2 adults, a 15 year old and a 12 year old. I'm looking for a villa in the Kissimmee area, three bedrooms with a pool/spa and games room, if possible, and close to restaurants.
Lots of villas online fit the bill, but I have no idea what area/estate would be best. Any advice on this will be gratefully received, also any on how to chose the right villa.
Hi,
Personal reccomendation if you're worried about finding the right villa with good owners, try http://www.killervilla.com/ They own three villas in the Kissimmee area, we used them last year and they were very good with all the communiction and return of deposits etc. Not planning a trip back to Orlando for a good few years now but would certainly use them again.0 -
But do you have to pay for the seats? Would love an answer to this one. x
We were at Aquatica recently during the first week of spring break for the Americans.
We got there around 10am & the park was about half full with plenty of free seating still available - even on the beach. It was a pretty decent day too - sunny & about 30C. Cabanas were not available as they were fully booked up for the Easter holidays way in advance.
The only word of advice is the 'cooler policy' - only a minimal amount of your own food can be brought into the park along with a couple of bottles of water. As per all parks there are bag searches & this rule is strictly enforced.Time is a concept of relativity, yet as a concept, relativity is timeless.0 -

Is Harry Potter World actually open to the public before this date, and the 18th is just an ‘official’ grand opening of it?
Apologises if this has already been answered, however I can’t find an answer in this thread.
Thanks!
Simple answer is no-one knows yet. People have booked packages inclusive of certain Harry Potter experiences from the 28th May and the official line is they will be honoured.
However no 'soft opening' has been announced/leaked yet and rumour has it that only those with the pre-booked deals will be allowed in, so it's wait and see I'm afraid. I will be there last week in May, so will report back here -if there's anything worth reporting.0 -
Kerrymay, we go the end of May including half term week and I've paid about £2900 for flights car hire and large 4bedroom villa for 2adults 2 children. I booked the flights and car hire together and then the villa off ebay, for which I have receipts and all the villa details. I didn't book the flights until November so think if I'd been quicker could have got cheaper flights tho they are direct from Manchester to Orlando.0

Thank you Budget_mum, jeanniebeanie and Stew68 for your replies.
I know that Easter will be really busy, but we can only do school holidays, due to eldest monster doing BTECs and being unable to miss any time at college. None of the family want to be away at Christmas and would be unable to cope with the heat during the Summer months. The joys of travelling with a red head, a fair haired and pale skinned 12 year old and a 15 year old emo who is going to have to be forceably removed from his long coat and black clothes.
I'm reading all the info I can find about beating the queues and considering getting intineraries made. If all else fails I'll just lie in the hot tub and leave the rest of the family to it LOL0 -

That price sounds about right regardless of when the flights were booked. I was simlilar last year for a 5 bed villa direct from Glasgow with a 12 seater van and sharing the cost with another group.0
