I could do with booking online really as I'm waiting a new bank card coming through so need to use DH's at the moment which is fine for online bookings but if I phone Virgin will they ask for payment up front now or add it to my booking so DH/myself can pay online later?
P.S The last payment date for the holiday itself as passed (26/01) so will that affect if I can book them to pay later?2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -
Website back up no, just checked.
I would have thought that as it is so close they will want payment now as it is usually 56 days.0 -
There is a great new Universal Deal on at the moment which includes extra universal hours into the park via Virgin. It was on the last show but we have had teccie problems with the sound so not released yet,.
Check out the Virgin website for the Harry Potter deal and you will see. You get free gifts and 30 mins extra in the parkSelf confessed Florida expertwith over 320 trips there!

This also includes free shuttles to Universal & not sure which other theme parks but small charge for Disney shuttle.
Still not booked theme park tickets but want to get that done asap as it's only around 6 weeks til we go.
What I want is 21 Days Disney Ultimate, 14 Days Islands Of Adventure/Universal Studios & 14 Days Seaworld/Aquatica although if it was Seaworld only that's ok as I'm not bothered about Aquatica (Would anyone reccomend Aquatica?) & although would like to do Busch Gardens I think it's too far out with no car.
If your going for 21 day's I would do Aquatica. We're going for sure as I really want to do the new Dolphin Plunge ride they have that goes into the dolphin pool so your sliding past them all underwater!!
We're not bothered about Busch Gardens particuarly because it's so far away from everything though!!0 -

This is why we wanted to only book the flight via Virgin Holidays. I have been working out a way to do it but this weekend found out how. We booked the fly drive, got the cheapest car and only 3rd party insurance (so it came up as 0.00) and bought our tickets to qualify for the deal but booked the accomodation seperately. You also get free complimentary breakfast in the Three Broomsticks.
There is a 10% offer on at Virgin until the end of today so you will get 10% off your tickets as well. If you go Via Quidco you can also get 4% cashback.
The offer is in the 2nd edition Florida brochure and is available for people arriving 28th May onwards and if you buy a Universal Park Ticket with your holiday. There is a clause in that you have to take your freebie within 2 days of arriving and you have to arrive at Mythos in Universal and meet the Virgin rep BY 7.30AM where you will be escorted into the park. There are no exceptions so make sure you get there early because there is a good walk into the park too. There will be Free Parking (you pay but have to get it refunded).
We are going the day after we arrive as we'll be on UK time and not be able to sleep anyway. I have a very dog eared page of my brochure but we got a great deal and we get our free breakfast. The lengths some people will go to!!0 -
Been on Virgin but can't find any details of the free shuttle with the Seaworld/Busch/Aquatica tickets.
Think some of the prices have gone up as well, total with Virgin is £1655.00 + £4 booking fee wheras Travel Republic it's £1,504.00 & £18.80 fee but still cheaper than Virgin. Decisions decisions, DH has asked me to get them booked this morning before I go out so unless anyone can point me in direction of the Busch/Aquatica/Seaworld offer I think I'll book with TR instead of Virgin.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

Yes it was depressing!!!! Thomas Cook said as a 'special' rate they would do me $1.53 to the £1 - that's really low isn't it? No idea where to start looking online for some as would like to get at least $1.60/$1.70 to the £1 if I can.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0
