  • Hi there!

I have just booked a 14 night break from the 15th of August until the 29th from Thomson.

We went into the travel agents as we'd seen some amazing prices online and we got our Accomodation, Flights, Park Tickets and transfers for little over £1400 each. The package was booked with Jet Save who are apparently the cheapest around if anyone is looking!

After being a bit dubious about travel Agents in the past we were really greatful they did all they could to match our budget (£1500).

On the other hand, Thomas Cook were rubbish and offered us nothing, not even any help! We quoted the price we had on the net and they said we might as well book it because we wouldnt get it any cheaper!

    YEAH RIGHT!
  • I booked our Florida holiday for £730 each (4) from May 25th - 8th June.

This includes Flights with Virgin, 5 Bedroom Villa (Really Nice Villa), 4 Wheel Drive Car Hire and 14 Day Tickets to Universal & Islands of Adventure including the Harry Potter new park which is due to Open in the Spring.

    Total was £2920

    I booked them all seperately.

Going back to the magic in Orlando in March but due to other circumstances haven't got any park tickets booked yet, got a great deal on the holiday (using tesco vouchers only paid just over £500 for 4 of us for 3 weeks!). DH has said cheapest tickets online at the moment are travel republic, does anyone have any codes for them or any cashback sites to get the price down a little bit? Thanks x

    Magic in Orlando ???
Are you talking of the magic in general in Orlando.

Flights from the UK to MCO usually land about 3pm. Im out the hotel and at the firework display by 7/8pm.

The day we fly home flights leave 6pm, im at the water park until 4pm.

OMG, us too, you can never have too much magic as far as I am concerned. We are exhausted when we get back but why go all that way to sit around by the pool??

Well. We are all booked. 2 adults, 2 kids, 20 days in Oct/Nov.

Flights, V-Room, 3 for 2 Busch/SeaWorld/Aquatica passes 14 days, 2 park bonus tickets, HPW breakfast (yeah!!) and early admission, Disney Express - £2775.50

Hilton Grande Vacations for one week - £175 exchange fee
Animal Kingdom Villas one bed apartment one week - £175 exchange fee plus $95 for the Magical Express.

Booked with WDW direct, 6 days in Old Key West Villas, 1 bed apartment with full Disney Dining Plan, 21 day Ultimate tickets - £1918

Decided not to use this years timeshare week and have saved that for next year and go again. The price for OKW was just so good with the free dining plan (£996). Booked directly with WDW. Intended on going via quidco for cashback but the websites would not work and we needed to get it booked as we got 10% off Virgin and the prices of flights had risen since yesterday. So we have 3 weeks in 1 bed apartments, nice to have laundry facilities for towels and the like so we can swim more often.

Now on countdown til October I guess. Just need to get a dog sitter now, no way can I bear the thought of having her in a kennel for 4 weeks.
  • We've booked with Virgin, total for 4 of us after discounts was £523 (NOT each!) that's flights & 21 nights at Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive with some breakfasts included & kids eat free. This also includes free shuttles to Universal & not sure which other theme parks but small charge for Disney shuttle.

Still not booked theme park tickets but want to get that done asap as it's only around 6 weeks til we go.

What I want is 21 Days Disney Ultimate, 14 Days Islands Of Adventure/Universal Studios & 14 Days Seaworld/Aquatica although if it was Seaworld only that's ok as I'm not bothered about Aquatica (Would anyone reccomend Aquatica?) & although would like to do Busch Gardens I think it's too far out with no car.

DH still undecided about Kennedy as he only wants to go if a launch on, we've been before so he's not bothered about going again just to look round ITMS.

Also still need to do ESTA's, did ask DH to do them but with other stuff going on it hasn't happened yet lol

Wanted to do an itinerary but again that hasn't happened yet AAAARRRRGGGHHHH lol lol

PMS, Virgin have 3 for 2 on Busch/SeaWorld/Aquatica ticket - £67 for a 14 day pass. Give them a call and find out if you can add it but it is on their website and it includes shuttle to all those parks.
  • Can't seem to get onto Virgin site at the moment, anyone else having problems? When I looked into adding tickets to my booking online a few weeks ago is was adding around £5 per ticket then the advertised price - no idea why?

Just found out if I book the above through travel republic there's an £18 charge OUCH! Think it will be Virgin then if I can get it working!

Yeah, it is down - has been all night. That is why I had to call and book tonight and lost my cashback. Annoying but I knew flights were going as I could only get the later flight.

Don't forget that you can book through Expedia and get 12% cashback and your tickets though WDW website and get 2% cashback.
