  • Another quick update...
Went to a nearly new sale yesterday, and we now have everything for DS birthday too. Got him a Thomas book and DVD, a Maisy book and DVD, A Little People Zoo, A Little People Noah's Ark A Shopping Trolley which he's claimes already. I also managed to pick up a maternity top for me, Some Monsoon trousers for DS, and a Next tank top. Also got about 10 Next sleepsuits for baby. And had change from £30 :j
I love those sales, can't wait til the next one, although it's 12 days after my due date, so I may have a newborn, or be almost 42 weeks pregnant :rotfl:

Thats absolutely brilliant, you make sure you get some rest and put your feet up, and start money making on the net!! x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • Right - today is the first 'proper' day of my maternity leave, as in I would usually be working today but I'm not :D
I have LOADS to do. Hubby has brought down tons of baby clothes from the loft (DS old stuff), so I'm going to sort through it all. Keep out any unisex stuff and wash them through. Then any boys stuff that I still like I'll put to one side in case we have a blue bump  \if there are any boys stuff I don't like any more I'll either Ebay them, or save them for when we do a car boot sale.
I also have LOADS of ironing, a fair bit of washing, tons of cleaning etc, you get the picture...
DS is at the childminders all day today, Tuesday and Wednesday, and til lunchtime on Thursday, so hopefully I should get through all the jobs I need to do.

Ok, it may be a new budget, but turn that into a positive, it means last months budget wasn't right for you, needed to be ironed out, hence the twinkles x

  • Hi, not posted for ages...
I've not been doing too well at keeping track of the budget as I've been preoccupied with waiting for baby to arrive! I'm finding it difficult to work out how much money we will have once I go onto SMP.
I'll post a better update once baby is here.
