I really need my cheque to arrive asap - it's getting a bit too heated in here now.:D0

Posts just been, still no cheque, have sent a secure message of complaint to Cahoot.
Not holding my breath.
There is a complaints policy proceedure on their site which I will be taking up when I finally receive the cheque.0 -
I have still not received my closing balance either, despite
1) Requesting closure on 26th April.
2) Maintaining my 'normal' cahoot account and requesting an internal transfer rather than a cheque.
3) Numerous follow ups. :mad:0 -
Maybe they are innundated with all the closure requests
Or that much money has left the online saver after the rate reduction they have run out of reserve funds to pay the remaining interest

Ten days has now been and gone and still no cheque either. However, in my email from Cahoot it says 'around 10 working days'. Seems like they've covered their backs once again.
Don't think postie has been yet so fingers crossed otherwise it's going to be Monday at the earliest now.
Think I'll go and do a secure message to Cahoot and air my annoyance.:mad:0 -
As I still have a 5.25% Bonus Savings Account with them which runs out on May 25th I had asked for the interest from the Introductory Savings Account to be transferred to that account. Can't honestly remember the date I requested the transfer as it was by secure messaging, but suffice to say the interest of some £1,800 came through yesterday.0

Just out of interest, when other posters have used the cahoot secure messaging system, which of their headings have you used for your closure query?
I am also rather bemused by the fact that their response to a 'secure' message is always by 'normal' email i.e they do not even use their own system.
I have had no real complaint about cahoot previously, but perhaps that is because I have never asked them anything before! They have certainly not covered themselves in glory on this occasion. Indeed they have positively shot themselves in the foot IMO.0 -

I chose the 'other' category and contacted them via their secure messaging.
