Taking the plunge - first baby

  • No time is ever 'right' for a baby!! They are like a slow motion car crash. When you have a baby you are pretty much stuck in one room anyway for a bit.
You could always make a career out of being a yummy mummy and keep schlepping out to different groups where you could all furiously compete to have the most advanced/prettiest/easiest baby.
I'm just bitter because I had the world's pukiest, snottiest and disgruntled little boy in the world. He got up at 5am for 4 years.
Doing it 'right' is hard work - however big your house (unless you have one with a padded noise-proof cell and a 24 hour on call nanny)
Not being able to go out when you when IS a shock at first but when you realise you have regurgitated milk in your hair, you can't be bothered anyway....
