    What is cbmf? And ohss
I'm so bad at these things
    Clearblue fertility monitor (fancy opk).
Ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, that's when the ovary overreacts to IVF meds. One can avoid that if you don't replace the embryo on the stim cycle.

Good luck with the gonal f VK-it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but I did get a couple of bruises.

I'm now officially PUPO :D the transfer went well and one grade A embryo was put back, so now just need to wait and see :o i'm sure I will remain calm and rational for the next 2 weeks ;)

Thank you so much for the info, feel v out of my depth. It really means a lot that you've taken the time to post, particularly with how things are for you at the moment xx.

Am 34, not sure if that's old or not really. Have never had amh tested so not sure on that. I didn't really respond to clomid, but this is the first ICSI so no idea what my response to this will be.

If they'd suggested short to start with I'd have thought it was great - less injections! Am just a bit (well, a lot) annoyed that they didn't mention it until I'd done 15 days of down-regging and was already bleeding.

Will just have to wait and see what they say tomorrow. I think the most annoying thing tbh is that this has wrecked my trust in them. I just don't feel confident anymore that they know what they're doing.

    Hi Tea.

I have done both long and short protocols and have been on short protocol for the last 5 attempts I think. I am 34.

I was put on short (flare) to improve egg quality rather than any other problem and that worked a treat (now If only my autoimmune disorder would go away i'd be laughing!!)

As for changing protocols half way through I would expect (sorry) them to scrap this cycle and start again when the down reg drugs are out of your system or it wouldn't be a short protocol at all as of course the part that makes it short is no down regging.

Little bit odd to change now but try try try not to stress any more than is unavoidable.

And yes, OHSS is horrible, I was hospitalised with it on one try (flare protocol) and it is incredibly nasty. Make absolute sure to keep your clear fluids intake HIGH when stimming to assist in keeping this at bay.

Good luck with whatever happens next.

Thanks all the lovely words of encouragement guys. Having said that, I think my head is a little bit less obsessed with TTC when I don't come on this forum every day :o CD4 and back to the "optimistic" stage of the cycle. Not sure how long that will last though.

Congratultions on being PUPO MrsH. Will keep my fingers firmly crossed for you.

Zippy - Hugs for BFN. How many dpo are you?

Runner - Hope you are holding up as well as can be expected.

QQ - Nice to see you are still hanging around.:A

I was 11dpo at the time, I think, so still early. I think the fact that I got to 11dpo proves I (and cbfm) was wrong about ov day the past 2 cycles (our I'm wrong about it this cycle, but I doubt it more), which is reassuring regarding lp :) will test again in a day or 3 if no AF :)
must not get too hopeful about this cycle must not get too hopeful about this cycle must not get too hopeful about this cycle :o

Know what you mean about less ttc crazy if not popping on here so much. I tend to just lurk and read along every day or so when I don't want to get too obsessed.
