I've set myself those goals before too. I think I've gotten lazy/complacent with it lately. I had 10lbs still to lose just before christmas, then put a couple back on over christmas and have now lost them again, so maybe they'll drop off without me focusing on it too much...? I'm generally quite happy with how I look/feel right now, so I think I've lost some of the impetus I had. Plus I think I'm only doing it to qualify for ivf that I'm not even sure I want to go through with (i know noone wants to)... Meh. I should just stop thinking about it and just do it

Mrsh :j good luck for tomorrow :D

Great news! Fingers crossed for PUPO tomorrow, and a sticky bean with an uneventful pregnancy.

Don't stay away LM. The whole point of this thread is to give support, so when you are down is when you need us most!

I'm doing ok. Been working hard on pain management, after letting it get away from me a little on Tuesday. I have realised I have to keep up on all the pain medications as prescribed, and not wait until it hurts, as by then it's too late.

I'm nowhere near 100%, but coping fine, if very light headed all the time. I would certainly be a menace on the road! I can't focus, and keep vaguely drifting off.

But, I have moved my blog! Sorry to those who took all that trouble to register, but this one should be much easier. You can click 'follow' in the bottom right of the screen, and it will email you when there is a new post.

Ladies I am freaking out - please help me!!

The hospital have just called and said as I have PCOS they're worried about the possibility of OHSS, so think short protocol might be a good idea. So far so good - but I've been down regging for 2 weeks already and am on CD2 (after AF turned up yesterday in truly spectacular fashion).

How does that work? We only get one go at this and I feel like it's been wrecked already. Am so upset. And tbh a bit annoyed at the hospital, it's not like the PCOS is new. Why didn't they think about this before I started the injections?!

Have got an appt tomorrow afternoon to discuss it but am so confused. I'll be seeing the nurse I spoke to today (who also did our intro session) and she doesn't explain things too well. She's lovely, but I guess she thinks we all know what's going on and she rushes through it a bit.

Does anyone have any words of wisdom? Can I change protocols half-way through? Will I need to scrap this cycle altogether? Which protocol gives me the best chance of good quality eggs? How high is the OHSS risk?

    Don't know what to do!
