Probably. I find with infertility you can never have too many slaps in the face.

Tealover, I think that's the third post of yours today that I've both laughed and nodded knowingly to :p

My best friend in another country told me last night that she's pg. More queue jumping. I'm happy for her that she's not suffering infertility issues, but at the same time, if I have to go through that "i didn't know how to tell you, I wanted it to work for you, I hope you get pregnant soon so our kids can be the same ages" conversation again I might go on a rampage! It's not that I don't appreciate them trying to be nice and softly-softly about it. It's that I mind that the conversation has a place in the first place. There's something really depressing about seeing the beginning and conclusion (with newborn) of a multiple of other people's pregnancies too - like the passages of time just stick the boot in. I invariably end up wishing I'll get pg before they give birth, (almost) just so I won't feel quite so bitter about it all and can enjoy them showing off their newborn.:o But then, of course, that doesn't happen either, so I get even more bitter and jaded.

Mrsh, hope it's gone well today :D

    t2d, hope you're resting up!

    How you doing Runner?

I'm on cd 19 and feel like af's on the way. How concerned should I be if clomid's making my cycles shorter and shorter to the point of <20 days?

BZ, when do you see FS again (obviously hopefully never as this cycle has been the one)?

I can't answer the question about short cycles - meant to ask FS at last appt as it was the first time I had a short cycle (other Clomid cycles had been about 28/ 29 days).

Tea lover - know the feeling about being annoyed by 'breathing' - sometimes you just need to be alone!

    2 days into 2ww - bored!

Thank you all for your thoughts, means a lot to me.
We collected 2 eggs, not as many as I would have liked, but better than none, they are both good to be ICSI'd, which I'm really pleased about, hopefully mrh's swimmers will thaw well. I have to phone tomorrow to see if they have fertilised and transfer will be Friday or Saturday all being well.
Hormones are still a bit mental, so it will be another night in isolation for me I think :o
t2d-hope you're okay, and you too runner :)
bz-I felt really bad when my brother told me they were expecting because he was so worried about telling me, I hate thinking that my problems took the shine out of their excitement about telling us-I was also annoyed that there seemed to have been a big discussion around how to tell me-as if I'm a crazy person loaded with irrational hormones :rotfl:

glad it's all gone well mrs h, fingers crossed they both fertilize tonight xx

thanks for all your kind words last week, it really helped, i went in and had everything removed under general anasthetic yesterday as i couldn't face another m/c at 11 weeks, feeling better physically today, but pretty stuffed mentally, don't want to give up but struggling to get the strength to carry on.

28th May. I'll have finished my clomid cycles by the end of March though... been considering seeing if I can bring the appointment forward, but I've still got those pesky 10lbs to lose before they'll refer me for Ivf

Runner, I hope you're feeling stronger in every way again soon :)

Runner, be kind to yourself. i know how you're feeling, I really do, but when you feel better go and see Mr Shehata and get your Natural Killer Cells tested. Your history is so similar to mine - and if they're your problem all the IVF in the world won't fix it. But a dose of steroids should do. Really wishing you luck. xx

I agree with Sarah runner make sure you have the NKC test, I know it helped me, I know you have had some immune tests but wasn't sure about this one. Sending you big hugs, I feel your pain.

Great news mrs H - i hope they fertilise and continue to grow.
