Ahh CCM, so sorry :-(
At least (and it isn't meant to be flippant!!!) the tube was saved, I have had 2 ectopics, and 2 ruptures and salpingectomies so no tubes at all.
Try to rest and take some time with your OH and do what you need to do to try and make sense of your loss.
Hugs (())2 angels in heaven :A0 -
I too am very sorry Cookie Monster. As Lisa said, I am glad though that they managed to save the tube, and also that it was caught in time before it put your life in danger. But it is so so cruel to have things snatched away from you in such a sudden and traumatic way.0

CCM ((hugs)) take care of yourself xxWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0

Thank you.
I still haven't got my head around it. I had quite a traumatic time in hospital - Nil by mouth for 3 days whilst constantly being bumped down the emergency list amongst other things. Obviously after the surgery now I'm in pain. I'm sorry to hear some of you have gone through it too. I am lucky to have my tube but I know I have more of a chance of another ectopic in that tube. I have a few pregnant friends and I am at the Why Me stage.Deposit savings £8,000/£25,000£14,000 by 31/12/110 -

Just read that Chris Evans and wife are expecting. Made me feel quite gloomy - they have struggled, I know that, but their first was around the same time as mine - feel like everyone that had one then has now had a second*.
Plus they had IVF - an avenue that is not open to me.
Yes,I know I'm selfish and yes I should be 'grateful for what I've got' but I still get the huff at other people managing what I cannot, however they do it and regardless of whether they 'deserve it'.
*Everyone bar Mel C who had hers around that time too. I suspect she has fertility issues..

On the plus-side, one week before I'm off on holiday (and when AF is due)! How much weight can I lose in a week?!0 -
Hope you're going somewhere warm and relaxing Chickpea xx
On my 3rd day of injecting. Had a nightmare first attempt on Friday. Broke 4 vials of the liquid that comes with the Menopur while trying to snap the top off. Started panicking thinking I was going to waste them all. Had to call the after hours number to ask how on earth to open them. So much for injection training, they didnt even mention having to hold them in a certain way.
Anyway, the 2nd nights went without a hitch so hopefully will last the week without screaming:cool:
Is there anything I should be doing while taking these drugs? Im sure I read somewhere about drinking sports drinks or milk or something?:o Or is that later in the treatment?
Totally out of my depth with all this. Feel like we've just been given the drugs and told to get on with it, good job you're all such a knowledgable, friendly bunch :T:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0
