    CCM - when do you test, after the IUI? Any symptoms (not that they're much of a reliable guide to anything!)

    I'm CD 24 as well. I had the IUI on CD13 which will make it a chorter cycle for me this month.

    I will be waiting for AF - I'm not going to test before hand as i have quite an important weekend ahead and I don't want to be upset by a BFN. I will test on Monday (2 weeks post IUI) if I don't have anything before.

    Symptoms? Well I have pre AF style cramps and I feel nauseous on and off - mainly after eating - But I think I might be imagining that and willing it. I wouldn't be surprised if AF shows - but very disappointed.

    Sorry for CD1 Onestep.

    I quite enjoyed getting an abdominal exploration - who wouldn't?

    :rotfl: you do brighten up my day Chickpea!
    Know what you mean, onestep - I am going to get rid too. As hubby says, if I manage it, i'll probably buy new, anyway!

    Sods law says that you'll need it as soon as you've got rid...that's got to be worth a try!! ;)

    OMG well that makes us strange cycle buddies :p

    :D

    I did mention it to my GP & she thought I should be counting all the brown days as part of my period (because the red is so short) which I hadn't been doing - that would put me 2 days out with pinpointing of date - I really need to start temping!

    Funny you should say about pain, I'm noticing more pain at certain points in my cycle. I thought I was finally getting more in tune with my body but maybe it is something else like endometriosis?

    I'll chat to my consultant next time I see him.

    Good luck for Monday!

    Do you know I look at this thread every day to find out how everyone's getting on - just recently, I haven't had much to add myself though!

    That hasn't changed - CD27, nowt to report, waiting on AF - but on a 'fallow' month - and the last one of them my cycle was freakishly long and tricked me into hope - won't make THAT mistake again! Testing is next weekend if no AF.

    Anyway - I hope everyone's OK on this (bound to be) fine day. I've been up since 5, (since one member of the household has stopped respecting night+day.)

    I let Fireman Sam take over while I did a bit of cooking for the week ahead - some baked potatoes, lamb loin fillets (I accidentally bought these a while back in Waitrose - didn't check the price until I read the receipt later - £16 for 2!). Better be good. And I'd better not massacre them..and some pasta sauce.

    For the latter, I salvaged some slightly iffy looking carrots (see, I can be thrifty!) and I chopped up a chilli (the only one from my ailing plant on the windowsill) and then absent-mindedly scratched my nostril. Ouch.

    Chilli burn on the nose is no laughing matter.
  • Oh Chickpea! Sorry to laugh but done the same myself before now :rotfl:

    Im on day 5 of tablets, feeling OK and a bit more positive. Probably cos I feel like I am doing something at last. Not that I havent been 'doing something' about it every month but that obviously wasnt working ;)

    Hoping this positive mood lasts but have a feeling it wont. See.... being negative already :rotfl:

    C4B - hope the pills work. You just never know!

    +++++++++

    The absolute worst thing is that after chopping it and infecting my nostril, I then accidentally scraped the garlic skins and chopped chilli(!) into the bin! Idiot. So I had to use 'easy chilli' after all!

    (The lamb was nice BTW - but not £16 nice! What a rip-off!)

    ++++

    I tested today after all that promising not to - BFN, of course. Why do I keep doing this?!

    I have one more month of injections to go after that and then I'm quitting - well, quitting with the testing and what not. I'll keep one or two HPTs, but I'd have to be damn sure before using them! I still have loads of vits to take, and some 'Ovulex' tablets that I haven't tried yet, but I won't be replacing the vits when they're done. Apart from baby aspirin/folic acid.

    I'm not going to 'flounce off' or anything - I'm too interested in seeing everyone here get a BFP (and hoping for everyone, seriously), but I'll be scaling back my own efforts. And when I want a drink, or blooming peas for dinner - I'll blinking well have them!

    Have a good rest of Sunday!
