    Chickpea ((hugs)) for cd1

Nothing to report here, cd 6.. My biggest challenge at the moment is losing some weight.. Well, that and actually remembering to take all the expensive supplements I'm on :D I do feel like I've got a bit more energy, and my skin is good. Don't know if it's the royal jelly or the DHEA but either way I'm happy.

Hope everyone's ok... This long haul ttc is bloody exhausting.

Chickpea, I'm sorry you're having to get used to that idea. I 'try it out' sometimes, which I guess is all part of coming to accept it.

After six months of filthy-tasting Chinese tea and acupuncture at the Zhai clinic Dr Zhai finally said yesterday that we could start trying again. I'm dubious of course as I never really bought into the idea, plus I KEEP FORGETTING to take my damn tea, but hey. What's to lose? So I'm post-ov now, we'll start on my next cycle.

    Hi all

Coming up to fertile time .. DH is away :(
And a lovely chap I used to work with told me today that he's got his new GF pregnant. Not planned. She's 37. He's obviously shell shocked but happy, as is she, but for some reason it's really upset me. I said something about sorting out some baby clothes for them but actually I don't think I can :( I thought I was getting a handle on it not being likely for me but this news has thrown up all sorts of emotions. Ugh.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Hugs.

Sometimes there's just not much to say!!!

I'm CD8 now, doing the injections again, and back to clinic on Friday, I see no reason why this cycle would work though, when the last 2 didn't! Had a scan yesterday and predictably, not much going on. They couldn't even find my left ovary, which isn't a good sign!!

I can't remember where you're at Runnerduck - have you got another cycle lined up?
  • Hello,
Well I have had my op, they found a few 'problems' which they are hopeful have now been resolved, albeit probably only temporarily. Cyst or some form of lump, mild endo etc I was quite groggy when they told us what they found so only have DH to go by, not good ;) Just waiting to fully recover now (walking like a 70 year old at mo) and then we are back TTC again.

Congrats CCM and Ange, that is fantastic news.

Hugs Onestep, I had similar situation at work recently, sat in a meeting and suddenly noticed colleaques belly was quite swollen. Well I was surprised to find the emotions rising in me, thought I had got over that part of the journey - but I was really upset and frankly very jealous. I am building myself up for when Kate Middleton announces her pregnancy :o

Chickpea, have everything crossed that this cycle works for you :)
  • Hi - I'm new to the forum and the thread. I'm not familiar with all the terminology but my other half and I have been trying to conceive for 14 months now and have become quite down about everything. We tried to wait until a time we thought we were quite secure but are now worried we are running out of time. I'm 35, he's 38 and neither of us have any children. He has had a sperm analysis which came back low end of normal. My GP finally referred me for blood tests and referral to hospital. Blood tests include a day 21 progesterone test so having that done on Monday. We received a letter asking us to choose which hospital to go to and we haven't a clue. Don't want to go to the nearest necessarily... one is Milton Keynes gynaecology, one is Bedford Infertility and Gynaecology and the other is Luton and Dunstable Infertility and Gynaecology. How do decide which is best? What are they likely to want to do to start with?
