Thanks all for your wishes. Feeling better today especially as it was my son's first day at school and it went well. So wee though! Hardly seems possible.

Had a bit of a moment in work on Monday. I got in the lift with collegue (who knows nothing about me TTC) and she stared at my stomach and than patted it saying "Oh my God are you...? I nearly burst into tears. It's still swollen, but it has gone down considerably. So cruel the side effects of IVF.

As soon as she touched me I would have lost it!!!! Probably smacked back at hers or just stood staring!!!! And probably the answer would have been 'None of your business', even if I was on friendly terms with the person!

Sorry, it shocked me - I am so sorry for this experience for you... Hope you can get over this soon...

  • Glad your feeling a little better Sarah.

Ginvzt, I was just so stunned, it was all I could do to shake my head, and fight back the tears.

It's just so rude! Anyway I think she was more mortified than me in the end. I've not bumped into her again, there are around 600 people where I work.

Off to work now. I am doing what they call a phased return to work, so part-time for the first few weeks or so. I can't fault my bosses they have been supportive beyond belief.

Positive baby making vibes to everyone!

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before
  • Wow, so sorry you have had to go through so much winky, well done for coping!

I am just getting stuck in to work this month, and found out my thermometer is not broken, just lost one of its beeps! oh well prob not using for the rest of the month anyway!

Today i am struggling, just want to cry! Another friend has just had their kid, and they have put the pics up on facebook, i am thrilled, but it hurts more as the day they told us they were expecting was the day i got my bfp, so now i am just doing the what if (only for a couple of minutes).

Well i will try and go for a walk at lunch time as the sun i shining and it is a glorious day here. I hope you are all well :)

A question: have any of you felt nauseous with clomid? I have been fine this morning (although started crying telling OH about marmite promotion of free audiobooks, which is supported by 'Reading for life' - I had a laugh on the way home yesterday when I heard this on the radio). Then at lunchtime I got really hungry suddenly, had a bit to eat (nothing special), and now I am feeling nauseous! So, is it just my food (I am sure it was all good!), or is Clomid playing with my body? I was going to get the rest of the gift for my friend after I finish working today, but if I am feeling like I may need to throw up (sorry), I can't go anywhere!!

Personally I didn't feel nauseous. Nasty, teary and blurry visioned, but not nauseous...
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

    Hello everyone
I've just stumbled across this thread, read as much as I can with a huge lump in my throat.....
I had IVF to have my son 9+ years ago, I'd almost forgotten how awful it was. Infertility can't really be understood until you are living it.
I truly hope each and every one of you get the baby you deserve.
    Keep on keeping on.:T

Leopardlady, you never know what will trigger all the emotions, especially on places like facebook as your not prepared for it. :hugs:

Givinzt, Not that I am aware of, hot flushes, emotional, irrational, moody, anxiety, and some swelling was my experience (and poor OH's to put up with!) although in my first month I had food poisoning and we had booked a romantic break in the lakes around ovulation time, and I spent 3 days in the bathroom, I will spare you the details...

Hope your feeling better soon chick.
