I'm not sure any of us have words of wisdom to make you feel better. We have a bum deal. There's no sugar coating that.

We all have up days and down days - the only thing we can do really is learn to accept the down days.

Keep talking on here tho - everyones great. Hope you feel better soon x

Nichart - WOW, well done! I can understand your reservations. Dunno about the scan if they say yes, maybe they have a trick up their sleeve? but anyway CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

As you can see, I am up at silly o-clock, in fact, I havent been to sleep yet! Went to bed and got up again. Have my regular check up at Marsden today, but dont think its that. Think its the 2 cups of coffee I had!! Never mind - may see if I can have 40 winks in a minute

Lilo get some sleep you don't want to burn out and you need your body is the best state for the IVF.

I had some good news yesterday I picked up a blood form from my Drs and they are going to to a few tests for me on the NHS. I am having Thrombophilia screen (very expensive), Thyroid Antibodies (I have an underactive thyroid), Oestradiol and FSH. Just need to wait for AF now so I can have this all done in one hit, should be a couple of weeks.

we're not off to Care now the consultation I was going to see phoned me and said I would have to have tests done before they could offer any drugs and it would be 8 weeks before they got the results back and it would be too late then anyway, all I can do is keep my fingers crossed these are going to be the longest days ever I just wish I could sleep for a few weeks x x

I'm doing Slimming World so can't do sugar in my tea. I use sweetex. Pregnant and overweight or not pregnant and slimmer. Isn't that a great choice....... :rotfl:

I'm not at the IVF stage, but also trying to lose weight and it's so blooming hard. I get weighed each week, and try to just look at each week at a time. Seeing how much I have to lose overall just scares the beejeezus (sp? lol) out of me. Try looking back at how far you've come already

Toniq - Everything crossed for you honey.

Well, we're back from the clinic with good news. We're starting our IVF!!! We have our appointment with the nurse on 14th for our drug talk (!) then will be starting next cycle which by my calculations should be around 22nd June (bang smack in the middle of Glastonbury - not sure what we're gonna do about that!) We were given odds of 40-50% - i'm liking those odds!

Off to my reflexology appointment now but grinning from ear to ear.

Good news about the IVF SK.

I had to cancel my IUI this morning. I have a wedding (in Wales) on the day when I should have my second scan. And the first scan has been delayed by 2 days due to the bank holiday next monday. So the timing just isn't right. Hey ho. Bit upset. I would have thought they were open for scans everyday but they only do them Mon,Weds and Fri.

At least next cycle there aren't any bank holidays slap bank in the middle.

Aww ccm thats awful, it's the first thing we checked when we choose a clinic, how late they are open etc, as my other half has a very busy diary with work.

How can they expect every cycle to fall into those days?

Really hope next cycle is the charm for u x

Toniq - every 2ww is a killer but when you have such a weight of am I/aren't I expectations it must be worse. I'll be testing next Weds - assuming AF doesn't come first. I have a feeling it will - CD22 and getting cramps already!

I got sandwiched between 2 heavily pg women in the swimming pool today - some men's fantasy, maybe - it takes all sorts - but my nightmare for sure.
