I had my AF over the weekend and spoke to the clinic this morning and start clomid today and scanning on the 1st June for IUI. It should be a day 8 scan but due to the bank holiday its all out of sync so it will actually be day 12.
Does Clomid make you Ov earlier? I am worried I will Ov before scan but the nurse didn't sound too concerned :undecided
It depends on the person. It made me ov earlier, but not as early as day 12. I always had my first scan on day 12 as I'm a late ovulator.

When do you usually ov? Is your cycle regular?
I'd get some OPKs. I use cheapy ones from Amazon:http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001G7STT0/ref=pd_luc_mri?ie=UTF8&m=A4DI4ZJ5WTRP7

I think you need to leave 3 days between the last Clomid & using OPKs.

Congratulations Nichart - what a surprise! I hope it beds in well and this is it for you!

I'm off work today. Just had lunch and watched a little sneaky Kyle (with the blinds drawn). They were doing fertility test results during the show (what will be next?) and one couple were failing to conceive (due to his low count). I was jealous of her AMH score.

So with a morning off work, what better way to spend it than hanging out at the STD clinic?

I just figured that was an extra box I should tick - an itch I wanted to scratch, so to speak. Metaphorically speaking, you understand.

Anyway, after waiting one and a half hours I got a general check and I am clean! I knew that anyway, but like I said, just wanted to reassure myself.

So I went to H&B and spent £100 on natural, chemical free makeup. This on top of the £100 I spent on organic chemical free food, drink, perfume and cleaning products on Planet Organic last night.

I have acupuncture tonight (another £35) and the colonic on Saturday (£68.)

It's an expensive business, this one.

Oh Nic - Honey! I'm so pleased for you!!! I have absolutely everything crossed here that it's a sticky one!

I'm at the clinic tomorrow. Not sure what for - the consultant asked to see us after my lap & dye. Meh. Just wish they'd get on with it now. Not even had a treatment plan and our first appointment was nearly 9 months ago now (where they told us we had no time to waste )

I really need to read back, I haven't been here for aaaaages.

    SK x
After 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j

And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!

So what was the date of first day of last period? They can usually see things with an internal scan from 5-6 weeks, though that would just show a sac/yolk and possibly fetal pole. It is quite early though, you're right.
