Espil, hope things are still ok with your wife, thinking of you xxx
just got back from the hospital, we have all the meds and are ready to go on our FET, i have to wait for this af probably coming the beginning of next week, then on the first day of my next af i start taking the drugs, i will have a scan 14 days later and they will then make the date for the ET, provisionally booked for the 27th june depending on my af turning up on time.
Toniq my FET plan seems very short as i will only be on HRT drugs for just over 2 weeks before et, just curious, as i had read your plan a few pages back and was expecting the same, do you know why we are on such different plans?0 -
I've finished 4 sniffs a day and am now started the progynova pills, and am now sniffing buserilin 2 x a day, a scan end of week, then another may 16th, then a week of shots then transfer approx 22 may x
No idea, i'm 38 and have done several ivf's/icsi's etc etc.
I am with a private consultant that does lots of papers and research and stuff into FET, his son was a FET.
So i'm happy to go along with this chap, how is yours different? xxxx
I've just started the hrt drugs and yep will be doing them for 2/3 weeks too, are u down regging with buserilin? xx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
Runnerduck, there are 2 different protocols, if you are injecting for 2 weeks and then ET, then that is the short protocol, or natural cycle. This is the one I have always done, and found it to be manageable, and of course, cheaper!!! (less drugs) I am doing the other one this time, for the first time, so a little scary! So I will be picking your brains, toniq - I hope it is going well
JUJU, I am so sorry, I was hopeful for you because of the symptoms. There is still hope, but if you feel in your heart that it is no, you are probably right. Huge hugs to you and your hubby, take care of yourselves XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Lisawood, I am glad your appointment is not too long to wait.

hi, no i have to have af next week as it will be the first since m/c, then i have to wait until next af, on the first day of my next af i start taking the hrt drugs, 2 tabs a day for 5 days then 3 tabs a day for 5 days then 4 tabs a day until et (about 7 days depending on scan) and i have to start the progestrogen pessaries 4 days before the et, so in short i am scheduled to start the drugs on the 10th of june and have the et on the 27th, none of the downregging, injections or anything, the doctor laughed when i said is that it? i'm 35 so not much younger than you, she said the odds of it working are the same as for the ivf so will just have to wait and see, thanks for the info, i asked so many questions today, i didn't feel i could ask any more!
i don't know if anyone else has rhesus negative blood out there, i have and had to have lots of anti-D injections with my DS every time i spotted blood or bled, or it would cause my body to reject the baby and future pregnancys, but when i had my m/c in 2007 they said i didn't need one as i hadn't reached 12 weeks (it was 11.5) with this second m/c i cant help wondering if that might have been a problem. as i have an aunty who has the same and she had 1 baby 50 years ago and m/c every pregnancy after, has anyone else got any ideas on this thanks
sorry to ramble on and on and on.............0
